After the beautiful sunshine and warm temperatures weโve enjoyed across the UK over the past few days (even if it vanished as quickly as it arrived!), many people made the most of it with a classic British seaside day out โ๏ธ๐
Here in Whitstable, where we are currently, thousands of people were out enjoying the coast. Walking along the sea wall, one thing that really stands out is the lifeboats (the RNLI). If you were there with children, theyโve probably asked what they are and what they do!
To help children understand the important role the RNLI plays in Whitstable, Iโve created some free printable teaching resources.

Are your kids buzzing with questions about the Artemis II mission to the Moon? ๐๐
The astronauts are now on their journey back to Earth, with splashdown expected on Friday (thatโs Saturday here in the UK!).
What an incredible moment in history to share with them.
To help keep the excitement going, Iโve put together some FREE printable teaching resources, perfect for sparking curiosity, learning, and a love of space exploration.

Meningitis is something I feel deeply passionate about raising awareness for.
As a child, I had meningitis and it nearly cost me my life.
With the current outbreak in Canterbury, Kent, this issue feels especially close to home.
Being from there, and having personally experienced how serious this illness can be, I feel itโs so important to speak out and help spread awareness.
I now live with multiple sclerosis, and while thereโs no confirmed evidence linking the two, it has been suggested that my MS could be connected to having had meningitis.
To help educate others, Iโve attached a KS2 reading comprehension with questions.
A FREE RESOURCE you can print and use to teach children about meningitis and the importance of awareness.
Letโs keep the conversation going and help protect our communities.
