وَمَنْ أَرَادَ الْآخِرَةَ وَسَعَىٰ لَهَا سَعْيَهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُولَٰئِكَ كَانَ سَعْيُهُم مَّشْكُورًا
سورة الإسراء 19
Looking for true success — in this life and the next?
Here are 5 steps for success directly from the Qur’an:
1️⃣ الإرادة (Willpower)
"وَمَنْ أَرَادَ" — It begins with a sincere, internal desire.
2️⃣ الهدف (Clear Purpose)
"الْآخِرَةَ" — A meaningful goal gives direction and motivation.
3️⃣ السعي (Effort & Action)
"وَسَعَىٰ لَهَا" — Taking real action toward the goal.
4️⃣ اتباع القواعد (Following the Right Way)
"سَعْيَهَا" — Not just any effort, but effort that follows the right system.
5️⃣ الإيمان (Faith)
"وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ" — Faith keeps you grounded and gives your effort true value.
🟰 The Outcome:
"فَأُولَٰئِكَ كَانَ سَعْيُهُم مَّشْكُورًا"
Their effort is not forgotten — it's appreciated and rewarded by Allah.
💡 Success isn’t random — it has structure.

Surah Ad-Dukhan – Key Facts You Should Know
📖 Surah Ad-Dukhan (The Smoke) is a powerful chapter of the Qur'an filled with warnings, justice, and reminders of the Hereafter.
Here are 5 important facts about it:
1️⃣ Number of Verses: 59
2️⃣ Meaning of the Name:
“Ad-Dukhan” means smoke, a symbol of divine punishment and distress.
3️⃣ Why It’s Named This:
It refers to the verse:
فَارْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِي السَّمَاءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
"Then watch for the Day when the sky will bring visible smoke."
– a sign of torment upon wrongdoers.
4️⃣ Main Theme:
A warning to disbelievers of God’s punishment in this world and the next, while reminding the faithful of divine justice and mercy.
5️⃣ Virtues of the Surah:
▪️ The Prophet ﷺ used to recite it in long night prayers.
▪️ One of the "Hawameem" (surahs beginning with Ḥā Mīm), often recited for reflection.
💡 Reflection:
Surah Ad-Dukhan teaches us that while justice may be delayed, it is never denied. Forgiveness is noble, but wrongdoing never goes unnoticed by Allah.

Forgive and Reconcile... and Your Reward Is with Allah

﴿ وَجَزَاءُ سَيِّئَةٍ سَيِّئَةٌ مِثْلُهَا، فَمَنْ عَفَا وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ ﴾
— Ash-Shura 40
Allah promises a special reward for those who forgive and work to make peace — not from people, but from Himself.

You have the right to respond equally to harm.
But if you choose forgiveness — with the intention to fix, not to enable — your reward is with Allah Himself.
This isn’t weakness.
It’s strength, wisdom, and a path to peace.
And remember: “Indeed, Allah does not love the wrongdoers.”
💡 Today’s reminder:
Don’t just react. Rise. Forgive when it heals.
And leave your reward in the hands of the Most Generous.
