On the anniversary of the 23 July Revolution, we commemorate a timeless principle that transcends generations: genuine reform begins when justice prevails, responsibility is entrusted to those who truly deserve it, and the course of institutions is corrected in the best interests of the nation.

Our deepest appreciation and respect go to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, for his vision and unwavering efforts to promote the values of development and reform in building the New Republic. His firm belief that sustainable progress can only be achieved by addressing shortcomings, while upholding justice and the rule of law, remains the cornerstone of stability and success.

May Allah continues to bless and protect Egypt, grant it lasting peace, security, and prosperity, and make its institutions enduring models of integrity, competence, and excellence.

The English Department, Faculty of Al-Alsun and Translation, Horus University – Egypt, mourns with profound sorrow and deep sadness the passing of Professor Iman El-Meligy, Professor of English Literature at the Faculty of Arts, Damanhour University, and a distinguished member of the Academic Promotions Committee.

The Department extends its sincerest condolences to the family of the deceased, praying that Almighty God may envelop her in His infinite mercy and forgiveness, grant her eternal peace in Paradise, and bestow patience and comfort upon her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
