كلية الهندسة – جامعة حورس ترحب بمحافظ دمياط في جولة مميزة لمشروعات التخرج

تحت رعايه الاستاذ الدكتور ابراهيم صابر رئيس مجلس أمناء جامعه حورس مصر

تشرفت كلية الهندسة بجامعة حورس بزيارة الأستاذ الدكتور حسام الدين فوزي، محافظ دمياط، يرافقه الدكتور محمد فوزي نائب المحافظ، وعدد من قيادات الجامعة ومجلس الأمناء، وذلك للاطلاع على مشروعات التخرج لطلاب الكلية.

خلال الجولة، استعرض الطلاب مشروعاتهم في قسمي العمارة والهندسة المدنية، والتي تعكس أفكارًا مبتكرة قابلة للتطبيق لخدمة المجتمع ودعم التنمية المستدامة بمحافظة دمياط. وقد شهد المحافظ مناقشة مشروع واجهات مائية مرنة ومستدامة بيئيًا، وأشاد بما رآه من مستوى علمي راقٍ وأفكار هندسية واعدة.

كما حضر سيمنارًا علميًا حول معالجة الخرسانة باستخدام ثاني أكسيد الكربون، أحد الاتجاهات الحديثة في دعم الاستدامة البيئية وتقليل الانبعاثات الكربونية في قطاع البناء.

وعلى هامش الزيارة، تفقد المحافظ أيضًا مشروعات طلاب أقسام الميكاترونكس والاتصالات والإلكترونيات، حيث أبدى إعجابه بما شاهده من ابتكارات تعكس تطورًا ملحوظًا في مستوى الطلاب ومشروعاتهم.

وفي ختام الزيارة، أعرب المحافظ عن فخره بطلاب كلية الهندسة، مؤكدًا أن مشروعاتهم تمثل نموذجًا عمليًا لربط البحث العلمي بالقضايا التنموية وخدمة المجتمع.

Faculty of Engineering – Horus University Welcomes the Governor of Damietta in a Special Tour of Graduation Projects

The Faculty of Engineering at Horus University was honored by the visit of Prof. Dr. Hossam El-Din Fawzy, Governor of Damietta, accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Fawzy, Deputy Governor, along with university leaders and members of the Board of Trustees, to review the graduation projects of engineering students.

During the tour, students presented their projects from the Architecture and Civil Engineering departments, showcasing innovative and applicable ideas that serve the community and support sustainable development in Damietta. The Governor attended the discussion of the project Environmentally Sustainable and Flexible Waterfronts, and praised the high academic level and promising engineering ideas he witnessed.

He also attended a scientific seminar on carbon dioxide-based concrete treatment, one of the modern approaches supporting environmental sustainability and reducing carbon emissions in the construction sector.

🔹 On the sidelines of the visit, the Governor also reviewed projects from the Mechatronics, Communications, and Electronics departments, expressing his admiration for the innovations that reflect the remarkable progress of the students and their work.

At the end of the visit, the Governor expressed his pride in the students of the Faculty of Engineering, affirming that their projects represent a practical model of linking scientific research with developmental issues and community service.

تشرفت جامعه حورس بزياره السيد المهندس/ أشرف بك فتحي – رئيس جهاز تنمية مدينة دمياط الجديدة – وقد شهدت كلية الهندسة اليوم مناقشة مشروعات التخرج لطلاب قسم هندسة الميكاترونيكس وقسم هندسة الاتصالات والإلكترونيات للعام الجامعي 2025–2026، حيث عرض الطلاب مجموعة من المشروعات المتميزة التي تعكس مستوى علمي وعملي راقٍ.

وقد أثنى السيد المهندس/ أشرف فتحي – رئيس جهاز تنمية مدينة دمياط الجديدة – على مشروعات الطلاب، مشيدًا بالمكونات المادية للكلية من معامل وقاعات ومراسم وورش، وما توفره من بيئة تعليمية متكاملة.

كما حضرت معالي الوزيرة أ.د/ هبة عبد العاطي – رئيس جامعة شرق بورسعيد التكنولوجية – واطلعت على مشروعات التخرج، وقامت بمناقشة مشروعين للطلاب، وأشادت بما قدموه من عمل متميز ومستوى أكاديمي رفيع.

وشرف المناقشة أيضًا السيد نائب الوزير أ.د/ السيد العجوز – نائب رئيس جامعة طنطا لشؤون التعليم والطلاب – حيث أكد مع السادة العلماء على التطور السريع الذي يحققه الطلاب في مشروعاتهم، وعلى ما يعكسه ذلك من جودة العملية التعليمية بكلية الهندسة – جامعة حورس.

The Faculty of Engineering today witnessed the discussion of graduation projects for students of the Mechatronics Department and the Communication & Electronics Department for the academic year 2025–2026, where students presented outstanding projects reflecting a high academic and practical level.

Eng. Ashraf Fathy – Head of the New Damietta City Development Authority – praised the students’ projects and commended the college’s facilities including laboratories, halls, studios, and workshops, which provide a comprehensive educational environment.

H.E. Prof. Dr. Heba El-Attar – President of East Port Said Technological University – attended the discussions, reviewed the graduation projects, and personally discussed two of them, expressing her admiration for the distinguished work and the high academic level of the students.

The session was also honored by the presence of H.E. Prof. Dr. El-Sayed El-Agouz – Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs – who, along with the distinguished scholars, emphasized the rapid progress achieved by the students in their projects, reflecting the quality of education at the Faculty of Engineering – Horus University.

مجموعة من طلاب المستوى الإعدادي أثناء عرض مشاريعهم المتميزة في مقرر الكيمياء الهندسية، تحت إشراف أ.م.د/ داليا مختار، حيث استخدم الطلاب مكونات بسيطة من البيئة لتصنيع مواد تخدم نطاق الجامعة، مستفيدين مما درسوه وقاموا بتنفيذه عمليًا في صورة مشاريع مبتكرة تعكس روح الابتكار والقدرة على تحويل المعرفة العلمية إلى تطبيقات تخدم المجتمع الأكاديمي.

The students creatively used simple environmental components to produce materials that serve the university community, applying what they have studied and implementing it practically through innovative projects that reflect their creativity and ability to transform scientific knowledge into real applications.

وفي إطار حرص كلية الهندسة على دعم التميز العلمي وتعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي الدولي، شاركت الدكتورة وجدان الناضوري، الأستاذ المساعد بكلية الهندسة ورئيس مركز الدراسات والاستشارات والبحوث الهندسية، في برنامج Women in Concrete 2026 الذي استضافته جامعة KTH Royal Institute of Technology بالمملكة السويدية.

ويُعد هذا البرنامج الدولي أحد المبادرات الرائدة التي تجمع نخبة من الباحثين والأكاديميين والخبراء من مختلف دول العالم لمناقشة أحدث التطورات في مجال تكنولوجيا الخرسانة ومواد البناء المستدامة والابتكار الهندسي.

وخلال فعاليات البرنامج، قدمت الدكتورة وجدان الناضوري محاضرتين علميتين حول:
▪️ استخدام الجرافيت في الخرسانة (Graphite in Concrete)
▪️ المعالجة بثاني أكسيد الكربون لتطوير خرسانة مستدامة (CO₂ Curing for Sustainable Concrete Applications)

وقد عكست هذه المشاركة المستوى العلمي المتميز لباحثي كلية الهندسة بجامعة حورس، وأسهمت في تبادل الخبرات وبناء شراكات بحثية دولية في مجالات الخرسانة الذكية والمستدامة وتقنيات خفض البصمة الكربونية في قطاع التشييد.

ويتقدم الأستاذ الدكتور/ حاتم خاطر عميد كلية الهندسة بخالص التهنئة للدكتورة وجدان الناضوري على هذا الإنجاز المشرف، متمنين لها دوام التوفيق ومزيدًا من النجاحات العلمية التي تعزز المكانة الأكاديمية لكلية الهندسة – جامعة حورس.

Under the patronage of Prof. Ibrahim Saber, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Horus University – Egypt,
and in line with the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to supporting academic excellence and fostering international collaboration, Dr. Wegdan Al-Nadouri, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Head of the Center for Engineering Studies, Consultations, and Research, participated in the Women in Concrete 2026 program hosted by KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden.

This international program is one of the leading initiatives that brings together distinguished researchers, academics, and experts from around the world to discuss the latest developments in concrete technology, sustainable building materials, and engineering innovation.

During the program, Dr. Wegdan Al-Nadouri delivered two scientific lectures on:
▪️ Graphite in Concrete
▪️ CO₂ Curing for Sustainable Concrete Applications

Her participation reflected the outstanding scientific level of Horus University’s researchers and contributed to knowledge exchange and building international research partnerships in smart and sustainable concrete, as well as carbon footprint reduction technologies in the construction sector.

Prof. Hatem Khater, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, extends his sincere congratulations to Dr. Wegdan Al-Nadouri on this distinguished achievement, wishing her continued success and further scientific accomplishments that enhance the academic standing of Horus University.
