Day 5 | NextGen Researchers Summer Training Program 🔬✨

That’s a wrap on our training days at INC at The American University in Cairo (AUC)! 💜

Day 5 was filled with inspiration, starting with an insightful exploration of Batteries, and an immersive tour of the STRC & Chemistry labs followed by Fuel Cells, and Types of Electric Vehicles (EVs). To top it all off, our student teams went head-to-head in Team Competition & Oral Presentations, showcasing innovative ideas and exceptional scientific communication skills! 🏆

We extend our deepest gratitude to the STRC Team for opening their labs and inspiring our trainees with hands-on insight. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Ezz Yousef and Mohamed Ramadan for their incredible sessions on batteries, fuel cells, and the different types of electric vehicles and Mohamed Salama for his beneficial session on characterization and SEM imaging.

A Very Special Thanks to Prof. Nageh K. Allam.

Momentum is at an all-time high for Day 4 of the NextGen Researchers Summer Training Program at INC (AUC)!

Today was all about bridging theory with practical implementation—combining interactive lab rotations with materials characterization, electrochemistry via potentiostat fundamentals, and the roadmap for scaling up lab discoveries into functional prototypes. 🧪🔬

Day 2 of the NextGen Researchers Summer Training Program at The American University in Cairo (AUC) focused on one of the most critical fields in modern science: Electrochemistry and Sustainable Energy Technologies.

Our participants engaged in intensive theoretical discussions and applications:

💡 Foundations of Electrochemistry: Exploring the core principles and practical applications of electrochemistry.

🔋 Advanced Energy Storage: A comprehensive review of Lead-Acid and Lithium-ion battery systems.

🌱 Renewable Energy & Water Splitting: An engaging session on water splitting for clean energy generation.
