Prof. Abdul-Majeed Salmasi is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the National Heart and Lung Institute and a Consultant Cardiologist at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. He is also a senior member of several committees of the MRCP examination within the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK and the Royal College of Physicians, contributing significantly to medical education and clinical excellence.

Prof. Hanneke Takkenberg is Professor of Clinical Decision Making in Cardio-Thoracic Interventions at the Department of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, Netherlands. Her research focuses on prognostic modeling, microsimulation, and shared decision-making in heart valve disease and congenital heart disease, with a particular emphasis on male–female differences in cardiovascular outcomes. She is also the co-founder and past president of the Heart Valve Society.
