✨Heliopolis University Teaching Assistants (TAs) boosted their leadership skills through the ‘Leadership: A Transformative Path’ module!

💡A module was introduced through the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) program for the Teaching Assistants at Heliopolis University, in a training module entitled “Leadership: A Transformative Path”, led by Prof. Dr. Ulrich Müller, an international expert in adult education.

The module provides an introduction to leadership with a strong focus on how leadership can be learned and developed. It supports the TAs in strengthening their professional identity as reflective educators and transformative leaders who inspire, empower, and create safe, supportive, and enabling learning and working environments.✨

🌟By the end of this module, professors were able to identify their core values and personal vision, explore their influence on others, learn from different leadership models and styles, view their careers as opportunities for growth, and initiate a self-directed transformative learning process.

💡From Research to Publication: Empowering Heliopolis University Academics for Global Scientific Impact!
The Research & Publishing module was launched under the lead of Dr. Ahmed El Shazly as part of the ESD Programme’s commitment to academic excellence and knowledge dissemination.✨

🌟This Module was designed to provide Heliopolis University Academics with basic knowledge of scientific research methodologies and academic writing skills, provided a presentation of international standards for scientific research, and promoted positive trends towards scientific writing and international publishing.

🌟At the end of this module,Educators were able to prepare a comprehensive scientific research paper according to sound research methodologies, adhere to scientific research ethics and avoid plagiarism, use reference management tools and scientific databases efficiently, select appropriate scientific journals for publication, and understand the mechanisms of the peer review process.

✨When rhythm finds a voice and movement tells a story✨

💡Heliopolis University Academic Staff are exploring how movement, through Eurythmy, can transform into discourse and visual music as part of the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) program, in the training module “The Rhythm of Movement (Eurythmy)” led by Nashwa Ahmed.

🌟 During this module, participants experience rhythm not only as an expressive art form, but also as a source of balance, harmony, and inner strength. The training enables professors to explore how movement can become speech and visual music, while introducing them to the core principles of Eurythmy as an art of movement.

The module also encourages participants to examine the relationship between rhythm, language, and music; develop physical awareness; enhance concentration and presence; and discover how movement can support creativity, collaboration, and overall well-being.

✨ This experience is achieved through a dynamic blend of rhythm exercises, group activities, and reflective discussions that connect movement with both personal and educational growth.

💡 As part of the ESD Program, Heliopolis University professors, guided by Dr. Mai Hamed and Dr. Aliaa Khalil, is engaged with the course titled “Theory of Knowledge.”

During the Module, our professors explored key thematic topics through a combination of philosophy, history, and critical thinking.

The Module concluded with an extensive discussion with management, addressing participants' views’ and emerging issues.

In this module, participants demonstrated a strong understanding of various knowledge acquisition methods, identified their own learning style, applied critical thinking skills, and recognized the interdisciplinary nature of knowledge. The module employed interactive methods, including discussions, debates, and reflections, and learning was assessed through an individual oral reflection and a group oral presentation.💫

In “The Sound of Music” Module, our staff travels on a musical journey across historical eras using piano performance as a dynamic learning experience. 🎶

By the end of this module, HU academic staff developed a comprehensive understanding of musical compositions across various eras and genres through a structured approach that integrated musicological principles with practical experience. Participants learned to analyze musical structures and examined the roles of rhythm, harmony, and melody, while also exploring the historical and cultural contexts that shaped music.

Our academic staff are not only mentors, but they are lifelong learners, discovering new talents every day. ✨
