On Monday, December 1, the JRMC Department had the pleasure of welcoming AUC's Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT) for a presentation to our faculty on the newly introduced Teaching Effectiveness Framework (TEF). Dr. Hoda Mostafa, Director of the CLT, walked us through the TEF roadmap and its various domains, offering valuable insights into effective and innovative pedagogical practices.

The presentation, and the lively discussion that followed, were both productive and enriching for all stakeholders. We look forward to building on this collaborative momentum to further enhance the learning experience for our students. center for learning and technologyAUC The American University in Cairo

• Verifying the accuracy of news is an essential necessity within any newsroom.
• Failure to confirm facts and sources should be a source of concern for every journalist to the extent that it prevents them from sleeping.
• We need to guide the public towards journalism that strives to verify facts and empower them to distinguish between true and fake news.
