Oral Manifestations of GI Diseases 🦷🔥 (Quick Oral Path Review!)

🥦 Crohn’s Disease: Look for a cobblestone mucosa (especially in the buccal vestibule), deep linear ulcers, swollen lips, and small tag-like swellings
Mnemonic: Crohn's = Cobs and Cracks (Cobblestone mucosa, cracked ulcers, and cheilitis)
🌀 Ulcerative Colitis (UC): Presents with recurrent aphthous-like ulcers and pyostomatitis vegetans (yellow pustules that look like snail tracks on the mucosa)
