Our Nursery and 4s families stepped into the classroom last week for a special Stay and Play morning, sharing meaningful moments alongside their children through play, creativity and discovery.

From building and exploring to learning and laughter, parents experienced a glimpse into their child’s school day while creating joyful memories together.

Our Nursery and Fours pupils enjoyed a wonderful day at Sitara Theatre, known for its interactive live performances and creative workshops for children.

They watched The Jolly Postman and immersed themselves in a joyful world of storytelling. Following the performance pupils took part in a creative workshop making their own Three Little Bears puppets before bringing them to life through a charming mini performance of their own.

A truly enriching experience that encouraged creativity, confidence and imagination beyond the classroom.

Our House Spelling Bee brought pupils together in a focused and engaging competition as they represented their Houses with confidence and accuracy throughout.

Four of our pupils took part in a U10 tournament organised by the Egyptian Tennis Federation, marking their first experience competing outside school.

A valuable opportunity to build confidence, gain exposure and begin understanding what it means to compete.

At Uppingham Cairo, our pupils are trained by Rafa Nadal tennis coaches and we are proud to offer the Rafa Nadal Tennis Program exclusively in Egypt.

Stories came to life across the Junior School this week as we celebrated World Book Day.

In English lessons throughout the week, each Form spent time reading and writing about their chosen books. On the day itself, pupils enjoyed a special Drop Everything & Read moment pausing for quiet reading throughout the day.

We concluded the week with a Gather in the library where pupils from the 5s to Top Year shared their work and spoke about their books.
