On the sidelines of Finnish President Alexander Stubb's official visit to Cairo, EUI hosted a high-level meeting bringing Finnish Deputy Minister for Foreign Trade Jarno Syrjälä and a distinguished delegation of Finland's leading technology companies and universities.

The meeting explored a wide range of cooperation opportunities, including Student and faculty exchange programs with Aalto University, Joint research projects in AI and digital innovation, Collaborative academic programs, Erasmus+ initiatives, and co-supervision of postgraduate and PhD students, and Industry-driven education models connecting EUI students and researchers with Finland's top innovation hubs.

Representing Finland's technology sector were global leaders ,including Nokia, Elisa Polystar, Solita, HMD Global, and Kone — reflecting the depth and ambition of this partnership.

The Faculty of Business Informatics welcomed Mr. Mohamed Shams, Performance Media Buyer, as a guest speaker in the Digital Marketing course.

During the session, he introduced students to the world of performance marketing, with a special focus on Facebook conversion campaigns and the strategies behind successful media buying. Students learned how advertisers optimize campaigns, analyze performance, and use split testing to improve results and maximize return on investment.

The session provided students with practical insights into digital advertising and a closer look at real-world media buying practices in today’s competitive digital environment.

The Faculty of Business Informatics welcomed Mr. Mohamed El Sayed, Digital Marketing Expert, as a guest speaker in the Digital Marketing course.

During the session, he shared valuable insights from his real-life experience in digital marketing, focusing on how modern marketing concepts are evolving through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Students gained a deeper understanding of how AI is transforming customer engagement, campaign planning, and decision-making in today’s digital landscape.

The session offered an inspiring opportunity for students to connect academic knowledge with practical industry experience in the rapidly changing world of digital marketing.

We were thrilled to welcome Eng. Sahrah Mohamed, CISO at Contact Financial Holding, who joined us for an incredible session in our Information Security course for Business Informatics students.

She brought the real world straight into the classroom, sharing how organizations actually protect their digital assets against emerging threats.

A big thank you to Eng. Sahrah for generously sharing her knowledge and experience with our BI students.

EUI in collaboration with IEEE EUI SB hosted an incredible session with Mrs. Noha Fayad, Founder & CEO of Techy Global, where students explored how to turn their tech passion into real income from robotics, coding, and AI mentorship to STEM content creation, curriculum design, and freelancing. With 10+ years of empowering youth across the MENA region, Mrs. Noha brought clarity, direction, and inspiration to every student ready to kickstart their STEM career before graduation.
