☕ English Speaking & Listening Course (A2-B1): Session 2

What a fantastic second session! This week, we fully immersed ourselves in the world of "Coffee".
The energy was once again wonderful, and the progress you are all making is truly impressive!

🧠 What We Brewed This Week:
Expanded Vocabulary: We learned new vocabulary and essential expressions for casual social interactions.
Conversational Skills: We practiced functional English by initiating conversations and inviting others out for drinks.
Active Practice: We engaged in listening, discussion, and role-playing activities to simulate real-world scenarios.

Due to the upcoming final exams period, we will be postponing the course sessions for now.
However, please do not worry! We are excited to confirm that the course will officially proceed and continue next term!

The University Industry Cooperation Center continues to offer workshops to master ex*****on skills and review presentations to support students' abilities to showcase what they have accomplished in their graduation projects and end-of-term projects.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧:

🔸How to create an eye-catching presentation that holds attention.

🔸How to choose designs and colors that are visually appealing to make the presentation clear and attractive.

🔸The importance of using a consistent font, size, and type for titles and text to achieve a professional and coherent presentation.

🔸How to explain lengthy texts using illustrations and clever graphics.

At the end of the workshop, participants learned how to design professional and comprehensive presentations, mastering the art of aligning colors and designs with the content and audience identity, and applying visual design principles to enhance clarity and ease of understanding. They also learned how to organize information using consistent fonts and purposeful illustrations, helping them present their ideas visually in impactful ways that increased their persuasiveness and influence.

🔸أهمية استخدام مقاس ونوع وخط واحد للعناوين والنصوص لتحقيق التناسق والاحترافية.
🔸كيفية شرح النصوص الطويلة باستخدام الأشكال التوضيحية والرسوم الذكية.

فى نهاية الورشة، تم توضيح كيفية تصميم عروض تقديمية احترافية متكاملة، إتقان مواءمة الألوان والتصاميم مع هوية المحتوى والحضور، و تطبيق مبادئ التصميم البصري لتعزيز الوضوح وسهولة الفهم. بالإضافة إلى تنظيم المعلومات باستخدام خطوط موحدة وأشكال توضيحية هادفة، مما ساعد الطلاب فى تقديم أفكارهم بصرياً بطرق مؤثرة تزيد من قوة إقناعهم وتأثيرهم.

University Industry Cooperation Center continues to conduct a "Mastering Microsoft Office" training (Days 2 & 3), equipping students with practical Microsoft Office skills to enhance their professional writing capabilities.

▶️Participants learned to integrate various elements, such as tables, pictures, and shapes, to create richer, more dynamic documents.

▶️Participants learned to apply themes, colors, and fonts to ensure their documents are visually cohesive and professionally formatted.

▶️Also, the training covered how to control page setup, margins, and paragraph spacing to structure documents clearly and effectively.

Finally, the sessions concluded with a practical CV writing task, allowing students to apply their newly acquired Word processing skills.

في إطار دعم طلاب أوتو – ميكا – تكنولوجيا المعلومات في مشاريع التخرج، تم عقد سيشن أونلاين مخصص لتعلُّم:

English Speaking & Listening Course (A2-B1): Course Launch Success!

We had an absolutely fantastic start to our English Speaking & Listening Course (A2-B1)! A huge welcome to the 28 students who joined us for Session 1—the energy in the room was incredible!

The theme of the day was "Coping with Fears."

What We Covered:

Icebreaker: We got to know each other with a fun activity, immediately getting everyone speaking and sharing.
Core Grammar: We learned the crucial difference between talking about The Feeling and The Cause, which is essential for accurate everyday conversation!
Real-World Skills: We practiced functional English by giving and receiving advice using certain expressions.
Goal Setting: We discussed our short-term goals and long-term ambitions for our English journey!

Thank you to everyone for your enthusiasm and active participation. We're already looking forward to next week's session!

Empowering Innovation: A Graduation Proposal Writing Workshop Paving the Way for Korean Funding & Industry Linkage

In alignment with the role of the University–Industry Cooperation Center, a workshop for Mechatronics students has been conducted titled:
"How to Write a Professional Graduation Project Proposal", with the participation of 35 fourth-year students.

The workshop aimed to build students’ capacity to develop well-structured, competitive, and industry-driven project proposals that can transform ideas into practical, market-ready solutions.
The training addressed the nine core pillars of a strong proposal:

1. Intro Page
2. Team Members Introduction
3. Contents Outline
4. Why — Rationale & Problem Definition
5. What — Project Concept & Scope
6. How — Implementation Methodology
7. Business Model Design
8. Industry Linkage & Market Application Potential
9. Detailed Roadmap with Timeline & Milestones

This workshop serves as a preparatory step toward submitting graduation projects for potential funding from the Korean side, reinforcing the university’s vision of supporting innovation, industrial integration, and internationally recognized engineering projects.

By the end of the session, students expressed how valuable the training was in helping them transform conceptual ideas into professional proposals ready for evaluation, development, and potential investment — marking a solid bridge between academia and real-world industry.

تمكين الابتكار الصناعي.. ورشة لطلاب الميكاترونيكس لإعداد مقترحات قوية تمهيدًا للتمويل الكوري

في إطار تفعيل دور مركز ربط الجامعة بالصناعة، تم تنفيذ ورشة عمل مع طلاب برنامج الميكاترونيكس بعنوان:
"كيفية كتابة مقترح مشروع التخرج باحترافية"، وذلك بمشاركة 35 طالبًا وطالبة من طلاب الفرقة الرابعة.

استهدفت الورشة بناء قدرات الطلاب في صياغة مقترحات مشاريع تخرج ذات قيمة تطبيقية وسوقية، تتماشى مع متطلبات الصناعة الحديثة وتفتح مسارًا للتمويل والتبني المؤسسي.
وقد ركز التدريب على العناصر التسعة الأساسية لكتابة مقترح قوي وواضح:

1. الصفحة الافتتاحية Intro Page
2. التعريف بأعضاء الفريق
3. هيكلة المحتوى والخطة العامة Contents
4. سبب اختيار الفكرة Why

Yesterday, we proudly met 46 outstanding student volunteers, each showing exceptional motivation and readiness to take on a leadership role.

These interviews highlighted a group of young leaders capable of representing the university, strengthening the bridge between academia and industry, and shaping clearer pathways toward future career opportunities.
