Use the formula: Area = length × width
Area = 12 × 8 = 96 cm²

For two digits
𝑎𝑏
ab: put
𝑎+𝑏 in the middle.
34×11
3(3+4)4
= 374
If 𝑎 + 𝑏 ≥ 10
a+b≥10, carry 1.
57×11
5(5+7)7
= 5(12)7
= 627
For longer numbers: add each digit to its neighbor.
