في إطار وحدة “كيف نعبّر عن أنفسنا”، انطلق متعـلمو PYP3 في رحلة مليئة بالبهجة لاكتشاف عالم الاحتفالات وتنوّعها

خلال هذه التجربة، عبّر المتعلمون عن أفكارهم ومشاعرهم من خلال أنشطة إبداعية ممتعة؛ حيث صمّموا قلوبًا ملوّنة وزيّنوها بحب احتفالًا بذكرى 25 يناير ، كما أطلقوا العنان لخيالهم بكتابة جُمل مرِحة ومليئة بالحياة عن شمّ النسيم.

Curiosity came to life this spring as our PYP2 learners explored the wonders of nature under the transdisciplinary theme “How the World Works.” From caring for a little chick they lovingly named Dahab to stepping outdoors with their spring checklist, their journey was filled with meaningful discovery.

Through gentle observation and hands-on care, learners explored how living things grow and change—feeling the chick’s soft feathers, learning how to feed and look after it, and building a sense of empathy and responsibility. Beyond the classroom, they became young inquirers, searching for signs of spring—blooming flowers, fresh leaves, and the quiet transformations happening all around them.

Their curiosity continued indoors, where a simple experiment brought learning to life as they placed flowers in water and watched them gradually bloom. Through exploration, observation, and play, learners deepened their understanding of growth, connection, and the beauty of the natural world—truly discovering that spring is a season of life, wonder, and endless learning.

Student-Led Conference was a great success where our learners proudly took the lead, confidently guiding their parents through their own learning journey. They shared detailed reflections, explained their progress with clarity, and showcased not only their work but their growth. Through meaningful evidence of learning, they communicated their achievements, challenges, and next steps, strengthening the connection between school and home while demonstrating strong confidence in presenting their work and contributing to a collaborative learning community.

It was inspiring to see our learners take true ownership of their learning, speaking with confidence, pride, and a deep understanding of their experiences. Their ability to articulate their thinking, reflect on their progress, and engage in meaningful conversations with their parents highlighted the importance of communication, self-awareness, and responsibility. Moments like these truly reflect the strength of our learning community and the powerful impact of student agency.

It was a truly successful experience where we had the opportunity to present our school, share our vision, and engage with families eager to learn more about the IB system, including the PYP and DP. Our learners were exceptional ambassadors, confidently representing the school, interacting with other children, and reflecting the spirit and values we believe in.
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Education Gate the organizers of this event for their dedication, effort, and excellent coordination in bringing the community together in such a meaningful way.

حيث شارك المتعلمون في أنشطة مليئة بالإبداع، من بينها:
اختيار تعبيرات الوجه المناسبة للمشاعر المختلفة وتصنيفها في الأركان الخاصة بها
تصميم ضفدع بوجه سعيد يعكس مشاعر الفرح والبهجة
ابتكار ظرف مليء بالحب لتقديمه لأفراد العائلة بكل مشاعر صادقة

وتعلّموا أيضا" كيف يعبّرون عن مشاعرهم بطرق جميلة وإيجابية، معزّزين مهاراتهم اللغوية والتعبيرية
