Attention Tech Enthusiasts and Innovators 🤩✨💫⭐️

We are thrilled to announce the call for abstracts for the initial stage of the IEEE-YESIST12 International Competition! 🌎 This exciting phase will be hosted in Egypt at the College of Engineering and Technology, part of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport in Abu Kir 🇪🇬. The competition comprises five competitive tracks, and teams that perform exceptionally in each track will have the chance to compete in the international finals, scheduled to take place in Indonesia in 2026 🇮🇩. Presentation of projects live demo in the preliminary stage on the 16th and 17th of April, details will be announced later.

The Mu Beta Chapter is proud to mark a highly successful 2024–2025 academic year. Our chapter has been honored with Key Chapter Recognition and the prestigious Outstanding Chapter Award (OCA) — two distinctions that reflect the dedication, leadership, and impact of our members.

• Key Chapter Recognition highlights chapters that consistently demonstrate best practices, strong engagement, and meaningful contributions to their communities.
• The Outstanding Chapter Award is granted to only about 10% of the 280 HKN chapters worldwide, placing Mu Beta among the top-performing chapters globally.

We are proud to announce that 𝐈𝐄𝐄𝐄-𝐇𝐊𝐍 𝐌𝐮 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐚 (𝐄𝐠𝐲𝐩𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧) 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐛 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 & 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐚 🇪🇬 has been selected as a Vibrant Pilot Award Winner under the category: 𝐕𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭 – 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 🏆.

The prelim stage was conducted under the auspices of his excellence Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghafar - إسماعيل عبدالغفار - President of Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) for the fourth time in a row for all tracks in Egypt, hosted by College of Engineering and Technology, Abu Kir Campus, and sponsored by AASTMT.

The award selection is based on outstanding efforts in:
