A continent that witnessed the very first civilizations in the whole world, is the land of cultural richness and as well the motherland to numerous brilliant minds. Today is the International Day for People of African Descent, a day where we value & memorize the contributions of those who sought humanity from a better perspective by projecting hope; in the different walks of life; art, sports, peace, politics, economics etc..
In a world where discrimination and injustice are still present, we need a regular reminder to the basic signs of humanity in dealing with each other. That was one of the initial triggers of the UN to celebrate this day & recognize the contributions of people of African descent in the different fields of life.

Nations are built by their people, especially the bright minds and skills of their youth..
Our Africa is a young continent with its youth constituting about 70% of its population. On International Youth Day, National Training Academy proudly celebrates the attention invested for training and preparing youth in order to empower the qualified calibers for leadership positions.
While Nations are collaborating towards achieving the sustainable development goals, youth lies at the heart and center of both the means and objectives of the SDGs. Hence the slogan for this year is “Intergenerational Solidarity”..
