برئاسة رئيس الجامعة ... انعقاد اجتماع اللجنة العلمية والتنظيمية للمؤتمر الدولي للاقتصاد الأزرق والاستدامة بجامعة السويس

عقد أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس جامعـــــة السويـــــس اجتماع اللجنة العلمية والتنظيمية للمؤتمر الدولي للاقتصاد الأزرق والاستدامة، الذي تنظمه الجامعة تحت رعاية أ.د. عبدالعزيز قنصوة وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، وذلك في إطار الاستعدادات المكثفة الجارية لتنظيم المؤتمر الذي من المزمع انطلاق فعالياته ١٩ أكتوبر القادم وحتى ٢٣ من الشهر ذاته.
جاء الاجتماع بحضور أ.د. شريف فهمي القائم بأعمال نائب رئيس الجامعة لشؤون الدراسات العليا والبحوث، أ.د. أسامة قدور القائم بأعمال نائب رئيس الجامعة لشؤون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، أ.د. محمد صابر عميد كلية الثروة السمكية، إلى جانب أعضاء اللجنتين العلمية والتنظيمية للمؤتمر.
وفي مستهل الاجتماع، أكد "حنيجــــــــــل" على أهمية المؤتمر باعتباره منصة علمية دولية تسهم في دعم قضايا الاقتصاد الأزرق والاستدامة، وتعزز من دور جامعة السويس في خدمة أهداف التنمية المستدامة وتبادل الخبرات العلمية والبحثية على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي.
وشهد الاجتماع استعراض ما تم إنجازه من أعمال اللجنة التنظيمية، ومتابعة الترتيبات والإجراءات التنفيذية الخاصة بالمؤتمر، والوقوف على الموقف الحالي للمهام الموكلة لأعضاء اللجنة، مع تحديد أولويات العمل والمتطلبات الواجب استكمالها خلال الفترة المقبلة لضمان خروج المؤتمر بالصورة اللائقة بمكانة الجامعة.
كما تناول الاجتماع أعمال اللجنة العلمية، حيث تمت مراجعة الاستعدادات المتعلقة بالمحاور العلمية والبحثية للمؤتمر، وموقف التواصل مع الباحثين والمتخصصين والجهات العلمية ذات الصلة، إلى جانب بحث آليات توسيع قاعدة المشاركة العلمية بما يعزز القيمة الأكاديمية والدولية للمؤتمر.
وفي هذا السياق، وجه رئيس الجامعة بتفعيل فرق عمل متخصصة للتواصل مع الشركاء والمؤسسات الداعمة والقطاع الخاص والمنظمات الدولية المعنية بمجالات الاقتصاد الأزرق والاستدامة، فضلًا عن تكثيف التواصل مع الجامعات والمراكز البحثية والباحثين داخل مصر وخارجها بهدف استقطاب المزيد من المشاركات العلمية المتميزة.

Under the Chairmanship of the University President… International Conference on Blue Economy and Sustainability Holds Scientific and Organizing Committee Meeting at Suez University

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, chaired a meeting of the Scientific and Organizing Committees of International Conference on Blue Economy and Sustainability, organized by the University under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The meeting was held as part of the intensive preparations currently underway for the conference, which is scheduled to take place from October 19 to 23, 2026.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Sherif Fahmy, Acting Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Osama Kaddour, Acting Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries; as well as members of the conference’s Scientific and Organizing Committees.
At the outset of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Heniegal emphasized the significance of the conference as an international scientific platform that contributes to advancing issues related to the blue economy and sustainability. He also highlighted its role in strengthening Suez University’s contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and facilitating the exchange of scientific and research expertise at both the regional and international levels.
The meeting included a review of the work completed by the Organizing Committee, as well as follow-up on the conference’s arrangements and executive procedures. The committee members’ progress in carrying out their assigned tasks was also assessed, with priorities and outstanding requirements identified for the coming period to ensure that the conference is delivered in a manner befitting the standing of the University.
The meeting also addressed the work of the Scientific Committee. Preparations related to the conference’s scientific and research themes were reviewed, along with the status of communication with researchers, specialists, and relevant scientific institutions. The participants also discussed mechanisms for expanding the conference’s scientific participation base in ways that would enhance its academic and international standing.
In this context, the University President directed the establishment of specialized working teams to communicate with partners, supporting institutions, the private sector, and international organizations concerned with blue economy and sustainability. He also called for intensified communication with universities, research centers, and researchers both inside and outside Egypt, with the aim of attracting a greater number of distinguished scientific contributions.
