This year, SIFF screened 203 films across the 11-day Festival, and those features and shorts competed in Juried Competitions and vied for Golden Space Needle Audience Awards, announced May 17 at The Vera Project.

The kinokino Audience Award is endowed with €2,000 and donated by & and DOK.fest München. After each screening at DOK.fest München 2026, audiences were invited to rate the films via QR code voting.
