ICM plastic model kits 1/48 MH-60L Black Hawk

I had high expectations for this kit, and it did not disappoint. The only downside is that the ESSS stub wings are provided only as the mounting points, not the full wings, which required some surgery using parts from older 1/48 kits.

I wish the photos did a better job of showing the finish. In person, the model has a lot of subtle tonal variation that really enriches the black color. Overall, a very enjoyable build.
