🎓 This lesson was presented in a seminar with 3rd-year students — a truly rewarding and enriching experience!

📚 Theme: Astronomy & the Solar System
🧩 Sequence: Listen & Consider

✨ One of my all-time favorite lessons to teach… and every year, it feels just wonderful!

💡 How the lesson unfolds: 🔊 I started with a familiar Ramadhan MBC channel music 📺✨, instantly creating a meaningful connection and sparking curiosity…🌙 From there, students guessed the crescent, leading naturally to the Moon as our central topic.

🧠 Think – Pair – Share in action:
✔️ Think: brainstorming + defining the moon
✔️ Pair: interactive astronaut-themed card game 🚀🧑‍🚀
✔️ Share: collaborative group work to create and present their own paragraph

🎥 Learners also watched a carefully selected video and completed a visually engaging mind map, helping them organize ideas before writing.

✍️ Final outcome: Students produced a structured paragraph presenting the Moon using facts, measurements, and linking devices — all in a learner-centered, highly interactive environment.

📱 Instead of traditional tools, I used the FocusSky app 🌌, making the experience even more immersive and dynamic!

📘 Rubric: Unit Introduction 💯
This time, I decided to change the usual way of introducing the unit.
🔖The session starts with a short warming-up stage, where the teacher asks learners engaging questions, followed by an S.O.S. message.
🔖Since Sequence 01 ends with writing SOS messages, I chose to introduce the unit through an SOS situation in an indirect and motivating way.
🧩 Multiple activities: SOS messages 🆘, an emergency table (problem–causes–consequences) 🚨, picture matching & classification 🖼️, Earth’s messages 🌍🗣️, and a creative drawing/colouring task 🎨🖍️♻️
