Today marked the first gathering of the English Agora Speaking Club 🎉

We began by exploring the story behind the club’s name, and what it symbolizes. We reflected on the ancient idea of the agora as a public space for dialogue, exchange, and intellectual courage. From there, we outlined the club’s guiding principles, setting a clear foundation for respect and thoughtful engagement.
To ease everyone into conversation, we introduced an interactive icebreaker designed to help members connect on a personal level. Laughter filled the room, and what began as introductions quickly turned into genuine exchanges.
Later, we shifted toward deeper reflection by discussing a thought provoking quote. This opened the door to a brief yet meaningful introduction to Stoic philosophy( softly launching future discussions on philosophy, literature, and movies too). The conversation was engaging, reflective, and fun.

Overall, the atmosphere was vibrant and open. There was a sense that something thoughtful and interesting had just begun. We look forward to continuing this journey together! 🥹🫶🏻

At the Intensive Language Teaching Center – ENSSEA, we have never believed that learning English should feel like memorizing pages from a textbook.

We believe language is something you experience before you master.
It is lived. Felt. Played. Heard. Spoken.

That belief has guided us in building different concepts on our Instagram, where each concept serves a purpose in a bigger vision.

Let us walk you through them.

1 – Snackable English (Exposure)
Everything starts with contact.
Short, real-life video clips give you daily exposure to authentic English: interesting topics, real accents, real situations, real vocabulary.
Because fluency begins with hearing how the language actually lives in the world.

2 – The Audio Lab (Absorption)
Then comes deeper listening.
Through music, rhythm, melody, and lyrics, we train your ear to catch pronunciation, natural expressions, and emotional depth.
The goal is to teach English in a way that stays with you.

3 – Play the Language (Practice)
Exposure is not enough.
You must interact.
Through quick and playful challenges, you choose the right word, fix small mistakes, and strengthen sentence structure.
Baby steps. No pressure. Just growth.

4 – The English Agora (Expression)
And finally, voice.
Inspired by the ancient Agora: a space of dialogue and collective thought, our speaking club allows English to move from theory to expression.
Here, clarity of thought matters.
Respectful exchange matters.
Confidence matters.
Because language is not complete until it is spoken.

These concepts were not created randomly.
They were built intentionally, step by step, to offer a richer, more modern learning experience.

This week, the Intensive Language Teaching Center at the National Higher School of Statistics and Applied Economics welcomed a large number of students for the English placement test. Each one walked in with determination, curiosity, and a real desire to grow, showing that learning begins with a single brave step.

We are now correcting all your papers, and the results will be announced very soon. Thank you for your patience, your efforts and the energy you brought into this week.
