What happens when a community comes together to celebrate learning?

This year, for our EC & Elementary Theme fair: Gateways to Learning, we transformed our campus into an airport terminal. Each grade level had its own flight number. Each classroom its own destination, filled with evidence of learning journeys, showcasing projects, creations, and reflections that highlighted how far our students have traveled as learners.

Thank you to all the families who boarded this journey with us. Stepping inside gates and passing by security checkpoints to explore exhibits and student-led presentations. Together, we celebrated the inquiry, collaboration, creativity, and growth that has made this year’s journey so meaningful.

At TCFL, this is how we make learning visible. Here, curiosity becomes a passport to discovery, and students storytellers of their own learning.

Our volleyball tigers aren’t made by trophies. They’re made behind the net, through every challenge, every practice, and every teammate they lift along the way.

They are shaped by their perseverance, kindness, character, leadership, and the commitment to make those around them better.

Here are some photos of their last tournament, captured at the SMS Cup by

Congratulations to the team for earning 1st Place, and a special shoutout to team captain Ana Garris for being recognized as MVP. Go tigers! ✨💫

In our school, we create experiences for families to learn, reflect, and engage alongside their children.

After studying Robert Munsch’s writing craft, our third grade students created fictional writing pieces inspired by his very own unique style.

Families joined us and stepped into their children’s published stories, making predictions and engaging deeply with the narratives our students had created. As they read together, they discovered stories shaped with intention and voice. They encountered with growing authors, featuring some of the author’s craft techniques: repetition, playful exaggeration, and surprising endings that invite readers into a world of imagination.

What’s the tiger way?

In our school, where kindness leads, spirit follows, that’s the tiger way. More than competition, we believe in growth, teamwork, and becoming.

We believe in sportsmanship.

Congratulations to our young tigers for earning 1st place in the 3rd-4th Grade Category at the CBC Wolves Cup! 🥇✨ Shoutout to Teo Henriquez and Oliver Reyes, who couldn’t be in the photo but were with us in spirit.

How does publishing a story help children fall in love with writing?

In our school, sharing published stories becomes an opportunity for students to reflect on their growth, learning, and their own experiences as authors.

Our 2nd graders planned, draft, revised, edited, and illustrated their writing pieces. Through the process, they learned how to tap into their imagination, crafting engaging narratives and characters to life.

They shared their stories with their families in a special publishing Celebration, boosting both their confidence and communication skills. But above all, discovering the power of their own voice.

In our Robotics Classes, 6th grade students explore concepts of engineering and programming. At their tables, wheels spin, wires connect, and motors spring to life before them.

Robotics is breaking problems into parts and figuring them out step by step. It is science, math, technology, design, all braid together into one.

Through the Vision Grows, we are stepping into richer STEM experiences & programs that empower our students to collaborate, problem-solve, and and build confidence in their ability to think critically.

Recently, we had the honor of welcoming the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) for our re-accreditation process.

During their visit, they observed 34 lessons in action and were deeply impressed by the inquiry-based learning taking place in our classrooms.

They noticed the strong presence of critical and creative thinking, as well as the clarity of classroom structures. Structures that empower our students to take ownership of their learning.

But above all, they spoke of the strength of our community. A community where students are seen, heard, respected, and held in a genuine sense of belonging.

Stay tuned for updates as we continue on our
re-accreditation journey ✨
