This page summarizes the archaeological research I am carrying out at the Cabrits Garrison, a British fort located on the Caribbean island of Dominica.

My dissertation project combines research in historical archives and archaeological survey and excavation to investigate the dynamics of Caribbean military community life through an examination of spatial and material practices at the Cabrits Garrison between 1760 and 1854.
