🎶 A Wonderful Music Workshop with José Manuel Requena! 🎶
We were thrilled to welcome José Manuel Requena, Head of the Music Department at IES Guadiana in Spain and a member of the Aglaya Project at the University of Valencia, for an inspiring series of music exploration workshops on October 6th-9th 2025
During the sessions, our children had the chance to create music from drawings and stories using unusual instruments—no prior musical experience required! José brought his multidisciplinary and inclusive approach, carefully adapting to each child’s individual needs and making sure everyone could participate, experiment, and have fun.
The workshops were full of creativity, curiosity, and discovery, showing our students that music can be playful, imaginative, and a powerful way to learn. It was a truly enriching experience for everyone involved, and we are so grateful to José for sharing his passion and expertise.
