Day 11 - Tamraght & Tifnit- 25.03.25

Today we started our day early at 5:30, the purpose of this was to hike up a little mountain and have breakfast with the sunrise whilst practicing Ramadan. We had a brief reflection about the trip and the awesome experiences that we had on this journey while seeing the beautiful sunrise.

Later, we went to a ceramic factory and saw the processes that it takes to do it and we had the opportunity to see some professionals working and creating and painting cups, bowls and plates, At the end we bought some amazing and nice ceramics.

After the ceramics we headed to Tifnit beach and stayed there for a while, hanging around, tanning and swimming. After spending an extraordinary time at the beach we went back to the hotel to rest a bit and got ready for dinner.

At dinner we had the most delicious food and a beautiful sunset, we enjoyed the food and view. In the end we had the awards for the surfing competition and then we went to chill a bit before going to bed.

Today was a beautiful and chill day to say goodbye to Morocco.

Day 10 - Tamraght & Paradise Valley - 24.03.25

Today started early with breakfast since we had a big plan ahead the surf competition. It was a fun experience, and we got to see everyone’s skills in the water. Some moments were very good, while others made us laugh quite a bit. After the competition, we stayed a bit longer to do some free surfing and catching a few more waves just for fun.

Later, we visited an argan oil shop, where we learned about it and even got to try some products. Also seeing other types of plants. After that, we went to Paradise Valley, and it was pretty good. The scenery was a little different, with water and rocky cliffs around the area. We had such a great time swimming and just relaxing in nature. Overall, it was an amazing day with a lot of things, funny moments and beautiful views.

Day 9 - Tamraght & Agadir - 23.03.25

Today we woke up at 8:00am to take breakfast, after we had a little break before going surfing and I think that it wasn’t only us but we didn’t enjoyed it at all because it was a lot of wind and the waves were too strong.

After surfing we had an hour and a half break and after we went to the souk (market) in Agadir, which is the biggest one in North Africa, which makes it’s a special place and a good one to visit.

After the market we went back to the hotel and we had a long break and then we had dinner at 8:00pm.

It was a nice day with nice food and we feel so grateful for everything that the staff is doing for us and the sacrifice it takes.

Day 8 - Tamraght & Taghazout - 22.03.25

Hej folkens
Idag var vores første dag i den lille køstby Tamraght nær Agadir. Vi stod tidligt op for at få morgenmad så vi kunne komme ud og ramme morgen vinden ved stranden.

Det var dejligt at surfe i Marokko, siden de havde meget gode bølger til at surf i. Vandet var dog ik så varmt og der var en del mennesker, men vi havde vådragt på så det var ik så slemt.

Efter surf havde vi lidt tid til at få et bad inden vi skulle aftsted til eftermiddag’s tur.

Vores eftermiddags tur startede med at vi tog en lille tur til Taghazout for at kigge lidt rundt omkring og nyde det gode vejr.

Da vi var færdige i Taghazout tog vi videre ud for at sandsurf, men da vi ankom blev lærerne enige om at det var en dårlig ide da det blæste for meget og folk ikke havde tøj med til det.

I stedet for sandsurf tog vi hen til en skatepark hvor dem der havde lyst havde muligheden for at skate lidt.

Vi kom tilbage på hotellet hvor vi blev mødt med traditionel bryllup’s mad og en hyggelig tur med kim i brugsen.

Day 7 - Erg Chicaga til Tamraght - 21.03.25

Kære dagbog i dag havde vi sat alarmen tidligt, altså rigtigt tidligt. For at komme op og se solopgangen fra den højeste klit der var i området. Så da alarmen ringede traskede vi op på klitten og satte os til rette. Og ventede på at solen stod op det gjorde den heldigvis også kl. 06:26. Da solen var længere op på himlen og vi havde nydt den stilhed man kun finder i en ørken. Løb vi ned af klitten i fuldt fart. Og satte os ind og spiste morgenmad og hoppede i en bus, som 9 timer efter satte os af i Tamraght.

Day 6 - Tamdaght to Erg Chicaga - 20.03.25

We started the day by waking up at Kasbah La Cigogne hotel, we have bread, eggs, roti and yogurt for breakfast it is very nice and delicious! and then we took the bus for 3 hours and changed to a rough ride in 4x4 cars and went along the Sahara desert . The sand and dust is flew everywhere and covered our faces and clothes . Then we have tea and lunch in the middle of the desert. After that we continued driving to the caravan, where we going to sleep for 2 more hours. Along the way we saw a bunch of camels gathering to drink water. After we arrived we went to unpack in our rooms then go out to sand dunes to watch the amazing sunset and ride the camels. We also go out after dinner to watch the stars, the sky was really clear because of no light pollution.
It is an amazing experience for all of us!

Day 5 - Matat to Tamdaght - 19.03.25

At the start of the day we hiked down and out of the Atlas Mountains. There we said thanks and goodbye to our guides and got on a bus and headed to Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, an UNESCO World heritage land mark. It is a group of buildings that were molded together by clay brick surrounded by big walls. The structure are believed to be built in the 17th century and today you are able to walk through the ruins. We walk through the ruins and up to the top of the hill on which it is built and where you can see modern villages and the desert. We walked down and out of the old village as the sun was setting and went back to our hotel. Where we dance with some of the staff before having dinner.

Day 4 - Idrsa to Matat - 18.03.25

Dear extraordinary beautiful human beings,
This morning we woke up to the view of fog crossing the mountain valley, with a light breeze and the smell of mule droppings💩 in the atmosphere. Kim said happy birthday (mors højdepunktet på dagen)
We went on a devious adventure to cross the road to the other building to get some breakfast, it was so delicious.
Afterwards we met the local children whom we played a game of horse with, and graciously gifted them the football after Tobs powerfully shot the ball over the edge of the mountain, which a local child collected after a minute and a half.
After a long day of hiking and beautiful scenic views, and dreadful water bottle refilling we finally arrived to the small village of Matat, where we were kindfully greeted.
We then gifted over 100 local children of the village school supplies to help them focus on their education and their future.
