The Royal Danish Academy of Music is Denmark's oldest and largest music academy specialized in classical music. The Early Music Department is now led by violinist Peter Spissky, working alongside a great staff of highly specialised teachers. Early music has an extensive collaboration with all other departments of the academy. The potential for great artistic development through individual tuition and personalized educational directions are firmly grounded in this strong and old institution. RDAM offers a 3 year Bachelors degree, a 2 year Masters degree and a 2 year Advanced Postgraduate Diploma. The academy gives great importance to co-operate with the professional international music life. Therefore many of the academy's teachers are professional musicians with active international careers.
