First landings are always special. Today, they meant something more.

It was a memorable morning in the circuit at Aarhus Airport, with the training callsign “Scandinavian One” taking on added significance: our first landing training flight conducted on SAS Connect’s own aircraft.

Going forward, their new First Officers will fly their first circuits in the airline’s own fuel-efficient aircraft — with SAS Connect instructors stepping into this role for the first time, within the TrainingAir organisation.

We are proud to support SAS Connect in establishing this new capability, and look forward to the flights ahead 🛫

After 10 years in Billund, TrainingAir is moving its headquarters to the aptly named Winghouse in Copenhagen. Our new home gives us better access to state of the art training facilities - part of our plan for further expansion in 2024.
