We are incredibly proud to announce the official launch of Danish Debate Association! 🎉

Danish Debate Association is a non-profit organisation focusing on facilitating competitive debate in Denmark. To that end, we have assembled a passionate team to make sure we reach as far and wide as possible, and organise events and tournaments of the highest quality!

What does this mean for you?

Firstly, don't worry, we will still host the Nordic Schools Debating Championship (NSDC)! In fact, we are keen to improve it and with a larger team and organisation behind it, you can look forward to an even better tournament next year. We will keep this page for all NSDC updates.

Secondly, we will host a wide variety of other events. As a matter of fact, in just a couple of days, we'll announce one of the first events we'll be doing in collaboration with some big players on the international stage.

Thirdly, in spirit of the organisation's mission, we have begun thinking about how to best foster a debate culture. A part of our work is therefore dedicated to doing outreach.

Sounds great, right? We think so too. If you are interested in learning more, like our new page or visit our website once it's fully done (we'll post here when).

Our workshop on the team dynamics of debating has unfortunately been postponed until the 10th of February due to a problem with the venue.

This doesn't mean that our excitement for the workshop has gone down even the slightest! We're still very happy to bring you top notch coaching on crucial elements of debating, and hope that you would like to join us (It's only 25 kr.!!)

From 23rd-25th of February, our flagship event Nordic Schools Debating Championships 2018 will take off. Up to 300 participants will be coming and for the tournament to function properly, we need volunteers. We'd therefore much, much appreciate it, if you would help out - we promise it'll be lots of fun! 😃🎉
