Let me be honest - I am s**t at posting stuff online but they say that sharing is caring so let me share a little bit of my personal story with ya’ll🤷♂️ - hang on, it’s a long one.
Since I was 6 I have done sports so being active has always been a key point in my life🙌🏻
When I was 16 I stepped into a gym for the first time, and been a frequent visitor ever since.
I have tried many sports and among the sports I’ve done are soccer, badminton, swimming, shooting, diving, boxing, skateboarding, taekwondo, road biking, MTB and last but not least Moto Cross⚽️🏊🏻♂️🥊🏸🚵🛹
Throughout my “career” I’ve had 14 broken bones, 3 concussions, dislocated both shoulders and my back, plus multiple lacerations 🚑🩼 - s**t happens!! (Especially when you run out of talent😅😂)
Naturally training and fitness has been a key factor to get and stay in shape, but also a means for rehab🩹
It’s all part the “game”… no crying about it!
In 2020 something happen that would challenge and change me deeply. I had been balancing too many things at the same time for a long time and it bit me!
Oct 2020 after a cup of coffee I was hit in the chest with what I can only imagine feeling being kicked by a mule🫏 - and shortly after that I was in the emergency room hooked to monitors and what not🖥️
The “sentence”!?! - Severe burnout and myocarditis! Sweet!! Well that knocked me on my ass to say the least😬😬
Let me tell ya, that hurts like hell!!
With it came the uncertainty and anxiety. I lost my job and was benched on the couch for months. I lost control of everything especially my eating habits.
I was craving especially unhealthy fatty and sugary foods! Suddenly I was feeding my face with pizza for lunch, burgers and fries for dinner, bags of candy, chips and ice cream🍔🍕
Throughout this 5 year period I’ve had 15 hospital visits with relapses, check ups, tests, scans and what not… Fast forward to 2024, after 2 demanding jobs I was burning out again so something had to change.
Pushed pause and focused on getting proper healthy and needles to say fitness became a key tool for that.🏋️♂️
