The report on language policy and language choice in Dutch higher education by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (2017) has used IntlUni outcomes in its section on Language choice and quality of education. In the English summary, it says ... 'Lecturers must not only have the requisite proficiency in the language but also the skills needed to teach effectively in a foreign language'.

There are two contributions based on IntlUni outcomes in Valcke & Wilkinson (2017) Integrating Content and Language in Higher Education. Perspectives and Professional Practice (Peter Lang): Kevin Haines "Purposeful interaction and the professional development of content teachers: Observations of small-group teaching and learning in the international classroom" and Karen M. Lauridsen "Professional development of international classroom lecturers". Go read :-)

Our Portuguese colleagues, Joanne Paisana and Maria Alfredo Lopes Moreira, recently used IntlUni outcomes in a workshop on the internationalisation of higher education at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Duoro.

Opportunities and challenges in the multilingual and multicultural learning space. Karen M. Lauridsen applied IntlUni outcomes at Ruhr Universitat Bochum earlier this week.

A short report on the IntlUni outcomes and impact has been published in the European Journal of Applied Linguistics (DOI 10.1515/eujal-2016-0010). It will appear in the printed version EuJAL 2016, vol. 4(2) :-)

We are happy to announce that the IntlUni Final Report has been approved by the EACEA. The overall global score in the assessment is 90/100%, and the overall evaluation is summed up like this: “An excellent network which has worked effectively to produce very good material and carried out valuable activities.” As particularly strong points are mentioned Management, Dissemination and Impact, Material produced, and Evaluation.- The public part can be found on the IntlUni website - www.IntlUni.eu - under About IntlUni.
