“The Divine, God, the Universe, whatever you see fit to call it, needs to be felt. It’s not supposed to remain as an abstract idea. And Love is something we can feel.

Love is a word that elicits a clearer idea of what was meant by union. To love and to have received love means to have experienced an unbreakable bond. To know unquestionably, unequivocally, that the presence of that person created a dimension of life that would not have been revealed otherwise. It contains within it a sense that you do not need to become anything other than who you already are to be worthy of receiving that love. And as such, that feeling of Love was, is, and will continue to be crucial to your evolution as a person.”

What is most alive for you right now? That’s the question I return to whenever I teach. The richness of the answer comes from the practices I’m steeped in: somatic exploration, philosophical reflection, and self-analysis provide the tapestry.

Many of the yoga teachers I know have told me that this year has felt more challenging than most. Maybe it’s because yoga is apparently out of fashion. And yet still — here we are, still turning toward the practice, still asking how to go deeper. Our orientation is in the meaning, not in the apparent trend.

There is a particular kind of resilience in choosing to invest in your craft precisely when things are hard. Growth doesn’t require perfect conditions. It requires presence, and a willingness to keep showing up for what we love and enquiring into what wants to be refined, deepened, and understood anew.

Straight from the Heart, my 10 week online mentorship for yoga teachers starts 7th September.

This course is about more than just sequencing. Together we’ll refine your teaching, root into timeless wisdom and transform how you show up — for your students and yourself.

We don’t approach pranayama as a competitive performance and we don’t see meditation as something to achieve.

Which is why in this training we return to simplicity of the original teachings. Breath as a way to settle the system. Attention to the breath as a way to organise experience.

Rather than complex techniques, we explore practices that are
sustainable, accessible, and effective — both for you and for the people you teach.

How does the breath influence the state of the mind?
How can practice support regulation, rather than stimulation?
What does it mean to guide someone into stillness?

This becomes a space to explore the subtle body — not as theory, but as something that can be felt, observed, and supported.

Our 50hr Immersive Training takes place at Villa Orgosse, a peaceful and inspiring retreat venue located in Soustons, the Landes region, in the southwest of France.

Nestled between forests and just a short walk away from a serene lake, it’s the perfect place to disconnect from daily life and go deeper into our yogic studies.

Rest is part of how we integrate what we have learned. In your downtime you’ll be able to:

Alongside a daily morning practice, we will be studying the anatomy and movement principles of the spine, developing in realtime a therapeutic embodied understanding of limitations and injury.

The Language of Assists module picks up on this conversation thread, as we strive to truly meet each student’s body as it actually is in the present moment. Theory only matters when it returns to lived experience.

Touch changes the experience of the practitioner. In this training, hands-on assists are not used to correct, but to inform, support, and refine perception. And the clarity of this transmission begins before contact.

Can you see clearly? Are you able to ascertain what is needed and what is not?

Touch becomes relevant only when it serves a purpose. During this training we’ll explore how touch influences the nervous system, how it can support regulation, or create resistance. The quality of an assist is not measured by what you do, but by what the other person experiences.

And sometimes, the most intelligent response is to do nothing at all.

Anatomy through the lens of yoga is not simply about naming parts.

It’s about understanding capacity.

In this training, we move beyond learning muscles and bones as isolated structures, and begin to explore anatomy as something lived, felt, and responsive.

We’ll ask and investigate together:
What creates support?
What allows depth?
When is it appropriate to go further — and when is it not?

This is where anatomy becomes practice.

We work with a functional approach to movement: not asking *what should this pose look like*, but *what is available in this body, in this moment.*

Ultimately intelligent movement is not about achieving more — it is about recognising what is already there, and responding with clarity.
