Erasmus+ Trainee

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany | Duration: 3 months | Start Date: Flexible | Type: Erasmus+ Traineeship (Student Internship)

About the Role

ESN Frankfurt is a volunteer-driven network supporting international student mobility and intercultural exchange. We are seeking a highly organized Erasmus+ Trainee to take the lead on essential administrative workflows while supporting our vibrant international community.
Working closely with our executive board, you will provide the organizational backbone for our local initiatives, ensuring smooth daily operations and gaining hands-on experience in NGO management.

Key Responsibilities & Learning Areas

- Administration & Operations: Manage correspondence, coordinate internal communications, and assist with comprehensive project planning and reporting.
- Partnership Management: Help establish, track, and maintain administrative relationships with local organizations and partners.
- Event & Volunteer Logistics: Support the behind-the-scenes organizational planning of social activities and help coordinate our volunteer base.
- Digital Communication: Assist with community management and content creation across our digital platforms.

Eligibility

- Enrolled at a higher education institution and eligible for Erasmus+ Traineeship funding through your home university.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in NGO administration, youth work, or international education.
- Strong command of English (knowledge of German is a plus).

What We Offer

- Practical, hands-on administrative and project management experience in an international NGO.
- A flexible environment with direct mentorship from experienced ESN board members.
- Official certificate and a letter of recommendation upon successful completion.
