As the guest editor of the special issue “Artificial Management — The Influence of Artificial Intelligence on Digital Business and Digital Entrepreneurship” in the Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research (Impact Factor 4.6; Citescore 11.7; ISSN 0718-1876), it is the great pleasure of Prof. Dr. Tobias Kollmann to present the first paper accepted for publication: Thabit Atobishi and Saeed Nosratabadi have written a paper entitled “Dynamic Capabilities for AI-Enabled Exploration: Antecedents, Mechanisms, and Innovation Outcomes” and investigated the mechanism through which firms leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) for strategic exploration and radical innovation by integrating the Technology–Organization–Environment (TOE) framework with the Dynamic Capabilities View (DCV). Using survey data from 245 senior executives and employing structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), they demonstrated a serial mediation chain in which organizational readiness and technology compatibility drive sensing capability, which in turn powers AI-enabled exploration to enhance innovation performance.
The paper can be downloaded here, and further information on the special issue can be found here: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/jtaer/special_issues/T7FM8WPNK6
