YES 2013 - Transitions

YES 2013 - Transitions YES 2013 is an international event, which gathers together European exchange students aged 15 to 18, at the end of their exchange year.

The YES 2013 is organized by more than 100 volunteers of Youth For Understanding (YFU). YFU is a network of non-profit, non-religious and apolitical partner organizations, working in the field of global intercultural youth exchange. The seminar, led by YFU Czech Republic, YFU Latvia, YFU Germany and EEE-YFU (European Educational Exchanges – Youth For Understanding), will provide learning opportunities not only for students, but also for the volunteers involved in the organizing process. Besides 500 European students, the YES 2013 will follow the newly established tradition and will host a group of non-European students who spent their exchange year in Europe as well. From 28 June to 2 July, 2013 these students from different religious, political, social and cultural backgrounds will be given an opportunity to develop their identity as young Europeans
