Suwen Chapter 44: A Classical Approach to Diagnosis
and Treatment with Élisabeth Rochat 🌿

📅 Thursday, 24 September 2026 | 🕟 19:30–21:30
CET

An in-depth webinar exploring Chapter 44 of the Suwen
and its discussion of wei 痿 disorders as a model for
classical diagnosis and treatment in Chinese medicine.

Through Yin-Yang, the Five Elements, and the principle
of analogy, this seminar examines how signs of Qi are
associated with organ dysfunction and how treatment
strategies are established in the classical tradition.

The webinar also offers insight into Classical Chinese
language and thought, helping practitioners deepen
both textual understanding and clinical application.

Élisabeth Rochat de la Vallée is an internationally
renowned scholar of Classical Chinese medicine,
co-founder of the Ricci Institute in Paris and author of
numerous books and lectures on Chinese philosophy
and classical medical texts.
