Last weekend, international students at the Ohm visited the city of Munich and the fairytale castle Neuschwanstein 🏰

Great vibes, stunning views of mountains and lakes, and plenty of unforgettable moments – exactly what a trip should be like!

Letztes Wochenende besuchten internationale Studierende der Ohm die Stadt München und das Märchenschloss Neuschwanstein 🏰

Beste Stimmung, beeindruckende Ausblicke auf Berge und Seen und jede Menge unvergesslicher Momente – genau so sollte ein Ausflug sein!

Danke an alle, die dabei waren und die zwei Tage so besonders gemacht haben 🤍

On 22 April 2026, students from the bachelor's programme in Mechanical Engineering at the Ohm met with Lars Nilsson (LEONI) for an interactive session combining a short talk with an open discussion about engineering careers and career opportunities for international students in Germany. 💬🎓🚀

It highlighted the importance of community, collaboration, and practical experience. 🤝⚙️

Last Saturday exchange students at the Ohm hiked through Schwarzachklamm (Schwarzach Gorge) ☀️ Beautiful weather, great views, and lots of fun along the way 🌿🥾

Last Friday was so much fun! ❄️⛸️

New and seasoned skaters took to the ice rink with us, and we were amazed at how quickly everyone progressed and improved their skills.
Ice skating is such a great way to embrace the season, and we highly recommend giving it a try (even without us!)

And maybe follow it up with some good food afterward. We can certainly vouch for that being the perfect way to wrap up an adventure. 🍕

Lots of laughs, a few wobbles, and great memories were made.

Es wurde gelacht, getanzt und gegessen! 🥨✨
Am Mittwoch war es so weit, gemeinsam haben wir uns an traditionellen Tänzen versucht und uns danach mit fränkischen Leckerbissen gestärkt.

On Wednesday we enjoyed local Franconian food and experienced traditional folk dancing together.

At our International Evening , students from Argentina 🇦🇷, Italy 🇮🇹 and South Korea 🇰🇷 shared insights into their home universities, everyday life, and what makes their cultures special.

After the presentations, we enjoyed snacks from each country For example tiramisu or bruschetta and had time to talk, connect, and learn from each other.

Thank you to everyone who took part and helped create such a warm and open atmosphere

Bei unserem Länderabend haben Studierende aus Argentinien 🇦🇷, Italien 🇮🇹 und Südkorea 🇰🇷 Einblicke in ihre Heimatuniversitäten, ihren Alltag und ihre Kulturen gegeben.

Im Anschluss konnten wir Snacks aus den jeweiligen Ländern probieren. Zum Beispiel Tiramisu oder Bruschetta, und die Gelegenheit nutzen, miteinander ins Gespräch zu kommen und voneinander zu lernen.

Vielen Dank an alle, die dabei waren und zu der warmen und offenen Atmosphäre
beigetragen haben.
