How was our meeting on Saturday? We laughed, we learned and we're looking forward to our next meeting!!
We celebrated our 13th birthday - we are a teenager now! We also celebrated the success of a member at the division speech contest and also one of our guests who succeeded.

One speech saw a member practice the skill of using humor to inspire the audience. He shared a story of being inspired by an athlete and the funny outworking of that in his own experience!
Our monthly educational was all about resolving conflict - a key skill for leaders everywhere.
Next month we'll elect our officers for the next program year and celebrate all that we've achieved in this year.

Our club meetings are also places to practice out loud!

At our April meeting we offered space to winners of local area speech contests the opportunity to practice and receive feedback ahead of the Division Contests later this month.
It was great to invest in contestants, some from our club and some from other clubs and our members could sharpen their skills on judging and of giving feedback.
We also enjoyed an educational from the Successful Club Series. David delivered the presentation "Going beyond your Club" highlighting for us the wider opportunities available to us and how they benefit us.

it was lovely to have a surprise visit from one of our charter members and to hear of our DCP progress from our President.
For those who were on site in Nuremberg they enjoyed birthday cake as one of our members celebrated her birthday.

Looking forward to our next meeting on May 9th which will be fully online.
