“Do I need a visa before I can start working?” Usually yes — but the visa and the professional recognition are two separate processes handled by two separate authorities on two separate timelines. Getting one doesn’t get you the other but your visa may be dependent on the recognition. Planning for both in their respective timelines is how you avoid a gap between arrival and your first paycheck.
