The TVET Portal is a joint initiative of GIZ (German International Cooperation), the Productivity and Vocational Training Departement (PVTD) from Egypt and the Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) from Jordan. It is a regional interactive user-driven communication platform for professionals and institutions working in the field of TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) to exchange information and to transfer knowledge among individuals and institutions in Arab countries. The platform is also meant as a building block for a regional network of TVET institutions and individuals to strengthen the regional cooperation. It is therefore open to any new members committed to quality based and labour market oriented TVET. The portal provides access to three different parts: TVET-Information (updated information about news and events), TVET-Forum (communication and discussion area), and TVET-E-Learning (access to e-learning courses).
