🎶 A small apology in advance to my students tomorrow…

Your piano teacher may or may not have a voice. Apparently, singing along at a Home Free concert is not considered proper vocal conservation. 😂

I regret nothing.

Lessons are still happening! I may just be communicating through dramatic gestures, aggressive pointing at the music, and whatever sounds my vocal cords decide they're capable of making. 🎹🤣

Home Free was worth it. ❤️🎶

🥵 Summer in Germany has certainly been keeping us on our toes!

A huge thank you to all of my Fleming Music Studio families for being so flexible with lesson times this summer. Between vacations, heat waves, and trying to find the coolest part of the day, I truly appreciate everyone's willingness to adjust schedules when needed.

Your kindness and understanding have helped make these unrelenting hot days a little easier—for both me and the piano! 🎹☀️

I'm looking forward to getting everyone back into a more regular routine as summer winds down. Until then... stay cool, stay hydrated, and I'll see you at your next lesson!

🎉 Happy First Day of Summer! 🎉

The backpacks may be put away, but the piano books are staying open! 🎹🎶

“In Flanders Fields the poppies blow…” ❤️

Living in Germany and seeing the beautiful red poppies bloom each year always brings this poem to mind. Written during World War I by Canadian doctor John McCrae after the loss of a friend, the poppy has become a symbol of remembrance, honor, and gratitude for those who served.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to others. Wishing everyone a peaceful and meaningful day with family and loved ones. 🇺🇸
