Engineered languages, engelangs , are conlangs devised to test or prove how language works.
There are three primary types of engelangs:

1. Logical languages - made so that statements are linguistically unambiguous.
2. Philosophical languages - designed to reflect specific worldviews, categorization systems, or ideologies.
3. Experimental languages - created to test psychological and structural concepts.

Auxiliary languages, auxlangs, are a secondary language used for communication between people who do not have a language in common.

Auxiliary languages are frequently constructed to offer a neutral option free from political or cultural dominance.

Artistic languages, artlangs, are conlangs created primarily for aesthetic pleasure, artistic expression, or storytelling rather than for practical communication.

Some famous artlangs include J.R.R Tolkien's Quenya and Sindarin, Star Trek’s Klingon and the Na’vi language from the Avatar franchise!

A conlang, or a constructed language, is a language intentionally created rather than something evolved through human communication

The types of conlang fall into three groups
1. Artistic languages (artlangs)
2. Auxiliary languages (auxlangs)
3. Engineered languages (engelangs)

We’ll be covering all three of these language subtypes on our social media pages, as well as the fundamentals to creating your own language!
