- latest versions of the free Airmate iOS and Android app, now used by more than 260,000 pilots worldwide. We improved VFR and IFR approach management and map display, added many new charts, display aircraft traffic with traffic warnings from both onboard receivers and traffic received over mobile network. Even packed with all those innovative features and providing aeronautical information in the whole world, Airmate remains fully free for pilot private use, in the interest of flight safety.

- our navigation database for Dynon SkyView avionics, with improved tools for data download and many new charts, flight plan loading including approaches from Airmate app to the Dynon SkyView.

- improved Airmate professional versions: Airmate EFB (for airlines), Airmate Military (for the military), Airmate Airport (for airports and handlers).

- advanced tools to generate automatically aerodrome charts, Visual Approach Charts, VFR ICAO and other charts. Thanks to those tools, we created more than 3,000 (unofficial) airport diagrams in the USA for many airports without published FAA airport diagrams.

- APIs for aviation players, allowing to retrieve aeronautical data, AIP charts, real-time ADS-B, FLARM and other traffic, NOTAM and other datasets, all with worldwide coverage.

Airmate iOS 3.9 is out on the Apple Store with many improvements:
- added informational Weight & Balance computation with graphs. The weight & balance computation takes into account the planned trip and loaded fuel, it is only informational and has to be checked against aircraft POH for the aircraft flown.
- the advanced route editor may now be displayed on top the map, either while planning or during flight, in order to change easily the route. A new Route button toggles the route editor display on top of the map.
- improved Satellite view bringing a much higher resolution for flight planning.
- and various other items.
We also fixed an issue with Airmate 3.8 in flight mode when the map was rotated and integrated latest Airac cycle.

We will also demonstrate Airmate Navigation Database for Dynon SkyView avionics, where we provide the navigation data, free IFR and VFR raster charts and airport diagrams/approach plates worldwide. You will also be able to experiment the complete integration between the free Airmate iOS app and the SkyView, for example to send planned flights including approaches.

New Android version 1.7 is out! By clicking on the attitude indicator right button, an EFIS view showing an attitude indicator and main flight parameters will be displayed below the map. This EFIS view displays AHRS data from the device own accelerometers so it may not work on older devices without proper accelerometers (Android 7 required). This release also embeds latest aeronautical database, automatically updated.

Airmate will be at AERO Friedrichshafen. We are exhibiting in Hall 6, booth 104, where you could discover all features of new Airmate iOS v3.2:
- free Synthetic Vision worldwide showing the ups and downs of rolling terrain ahead, relying on our worldwide terrain database.
- a new Advanced Route Editor to manage all points in your route. You could now reshuffle the points in any order by dragging and dropping them.
- SID/STAR and approach support with their display on top of georeferenced approach plates in specific countries.
- Both standard navigation panel and AHRS now displays the computed aircraft altitude above terrain

Happy new year to all Airmate users! As you have seen, iOS version 2.5 is out with various improvements (planned flight and waypoint import/export, fuel planning). We are working on major release 3.0 that will bring free Synthetic Vision worldwide. On the Android side, a new version with AHRS will be out soon.
