LCL S.A. is a major French financial services company, with its registered office in Lyon, France🇫🇷 and its administrative head office in Paris, France🇫🇷. LCL is an abbreviation which means Le Crédit lyonnais, the former name of the bank. Since 2003, LCL is owned by Crédit Agricole but still operates as a separate entity in all of France🇫🇷.
In the late 15th century, the fairs introduced by Italian🇮🇹 merchants made Lyon the economic counting house of France🇫🇷. Even the Bourse (treasury), built in 1749, resembled a public bazaar where accounts were settled in the open air. When international banking moved to Genoa, Italy🇮🇹 then Amsterdam, Netherlands. Lyon remained the Banking centre of France🇫🇷.
The Medici bloodline of the Black Nobility in Venice, Italy🇮🇹 who funded Christopher Columbus, included Catherine de' Medici, the 👑Queen of France, who was reported to have commissioned human sacrifice in a Black Mass in the 16th century. A young boy was sacrificed and the blood used in a communion designed to save her dying son, Philip. Medici wore around her neck a talisman with the name of the Satanic demon, Asmodei.
On the night of 28 May 1574, we are at Castle of Vincennes inside one of the castle’s nine towers, the one still called today the Devil’s Tower. The 👑Queen Mother is there, with two of her inner circle and her son who, breathless, is shivering with fever and can barely stand. An altar has been erected and is covered in a black cloth. A statue, draped in a triple black veil, represents the Mother of the Shadows, the goddess of suicides and madness, the divinity for whom the Mass is to be served.
As for the Mass of the decapitated head, it was related in detail by the great jurist Jean Bodin, the author of Les Six Livres de la République (The Six Books of the Republic) and founder of modern Economics. He was also the Secretary of the Duke of Anjou, Catherine de Medicis’ last son, therefore well-placed to know about it. Jean Bodin had only one fault: he absolutely believed in witches and recommended that the most rigorous punishments be meted out to them…
Jean Bodin became a member of the discussion circles around the Prince François de Valois, duc d'Alençon (1555-1584) (or d'Anjou from 1576). He was the intelligent and ambitious youngest son of 👑King Henri II of France de Valois, and was in line for the throne in 1574, with the death of his brother Charles IX (of France)🇫🇷. He withdrew his claim, however, in favor of his older brother Henri III of France🇫🇷 who had recently returned from his abortive effort to reign as the 👑King of Poland🇵🇱. Alençon was a leader of the politiques faction of Political Pragmatists.
