A little late to announce this amazing news... but some achievements deserve to be celebrated no matter when.
Facharzt für Neurochirurgie 🧠
I still remember sitting in a tiny room in Aurangabad, writing emails to German hospitals in broken German, not knowing if any of this would ever work out.
I remember the rejections. The paperwork that made no sense. The moments of doubt at 2am wondering if I had made the right choice leaving everything familiar behind.
I remember passing the Kenntnisprüfung in Münster and thinking - okay, maybe this is actually happening.
And now, March 2026. Facharzt für Neurochirurgie. Board certified.
This isn't just a certificate. It's 7 years of showing up. In a foreign country, in a foreign language, in one of the most demanding specialties in medicine.
To everyone who is somewhere in the middle of that journey right now - sitting with the paperwork, the self-doubt, the homesickness - I see you. Keep going. The system is hard, but you are harder.
