But what is it, that REALLY motivates us?🤔

I believe that there must be more to your job (and to life) than wanting to earn more and more money. Don't get me wrong: Having money is great! ☝️Everyone who tells you otherwise, has never been broke. 😅 But it shouldn't be the only reason for your to get up in the morning and go to work.😉

If you are struggling to find the higher purpose in what you do, there are two reasons for that: Either your boss has failed to motivate you (with other things than money), or you are doing the wrong job! 😒

Communication is key to strong relationships in every aspect of your life. 💬🤝

Here are 4 common communication mistakes to avoid, whether it's with your partner, friends, or colleagues.
spoke about it in one of his podcast episodes, and I found them so inspiring that I wanted to share them with you:

1️⃣ When someone shares their pain (for example about how stressed they are) don't tell them about how awful your day has been as well. Instead, listen with empathy and offer support. Then, at another time speak about your needs.

2️⃣ Avoid using generalized terms or language that questions the relationship. Be specific and focus on the issue in front of you, without threatening the whole connection. Otherwise, it creates panic and frustration rather than solutions.

3️⃣ Always be honest with your loved ones and colleagues, but do it with kindness and respect.

4️⃣ Encourage those around you to reach their full potential by setting standards & boundaries and believing in their abilities to reach them. (»I know, I‘ve got high standards, but I am communicating them, because I believe that we can make this work«).

Remember, effective communication is a one-(wo)man-show. By avoiding these mistakes, you can build stronger relationships both personally and professionally.
