My name is Rafael García-Herreros. I am a first year IRPH student minoring in SMP. I was born in Ecuador and I lived my whole life in the capital city, Quito. As we all know, we live in a world full of inequality and inequality. Our generation has the means and the creativity to find solutions to those problems. When I decided to take SMP, my objective was to improve my knowledge and take it to the next level, not only to find solutions to the problems of the system, but also to discuss, debate and spread these ideas with new people. Learning about new cultures and different context is essential to create global strategies of change and that is what made me choose SMP as my minor in the first place.
