Four years of passion, precision, and performance.
When we took over the artistic direction of DANCEWORKS berlin, we had a clear vision: to create a space where technical excellence and performance seamlessly intertwine. Today, looking back at these moments, we can proudly say that we transformed that vision into a vibrant reality.
We are incredibly proud of the network we’ve built and the milestones we reached together:
From inspiring collaborations with theatres like Uferstudios, ACUD, Säälchen, Theaterforum Kreuzberg, Zimmer 16... to the best exchange with the technicians of the Komische Oper Berlin...
Meaningful local initiatives with partners like the Bürgerpark Verein, bringing dance into the nature of the city or being a partner of Tanz Mit! festival at Potsdamer Platz...
Strengthening our international profile through Erasmus+ exchange programs, hosting students from across Europe, and building bridges with dance schools both in Germany and abroad (Denmark, Sweden, Portugal...)
Expanding the curriculum with innovative new subjects and welcoming renowned guest choreographers from every corner of the globe to inspire our dancers.
Our special creative exchange with Brazil and our presence at major industry events like the Danceworld Fair Stuttgart.
While our journey here is coming to an unexpected end, our pride in what we’ve built remains untouched. We leave behind a school that is more connected, diverse, and artistically robust than ever before.
To our students, teachers, partners, and the incredible guest artists: Thank you for trusting our direction. The hard work paid off in every drop of sweat, every international connection, and every standing ovation.
