As Imbolc approaches, a beautiful portal opens—a cross-quarter moment between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, where the light grows stronger with each passing day. To me, this has become a powerful time to attune to the spiritkeeper and the cacao midwife, renewing my sacred bond while energising a dream.

The spiritkeeper of Cacao reveals a breathtaking form and sacred geometry. Deeply rooted in the earth, her crown spirals toward the origins of the divine. She embodies abundance and life force, with plants blossoming from every fibre of her being. Everything she touches is transformed.

Close your human eyes and feel into your cosmic heart, flowing with the sacred rivers that nourish your inner being. What dream seed, project, or ritual do you wish to bless and bring into material form? What idea would you like to energise within the warm, heart-womb space held by cacao?

The Medicine Woman offers a space for dream seeding, initiation, and deepening into the collective energy of cacao. Together, we will invite the archetypal midwife, a guiding force who helps bring forth creations from the dreamtime into the material world. Join me for interactive, co-creative space for weaving intentions.

I am delighted to invite you to the Cacao Elders Deepening Study which begins on November 07, 2024, a course designed for expansion, deepening and grounding into the teachings of the sacred cacao during the season of Samhain.

Through the lens of the cacao collective, you will be guided into the landscape of four cacao elders, to explore both the medicines and gifts of these portal keepers that dwell inside cacao's super consciousness: the Alchemist, the Weaver, the Visionary, and the Cacao Mother.

I have created this offering to honour both the shapeshifter cacao as the elder guides, and at the same time to allow me and others to expand through the cacao medicine, and to receive their messages for the times to come.

The cacao consciousness is rising, and we are invited to expand with them, root into our hearts, and expand into a deeper embodiment of soul and spirit.

The cacao elders dwell inside the cacao medicine, in my inner landscape, and in yours! I'm happy to welcome you and spend some juicy time together!

Cacao Medicine Circle Italy 26/03/2024

Join me on a delightful Cacao Mama Medicine Circle in a wild Mountain Valley in Piedmont, Italy.

We will share seven unique days of regeneration, connection, and deepening of "The Art of Cacao", ceremonial practice, and earth-based rituals in one of the most pristine and magical places, the Antrona Valley.

The Cacao Medicine Circle is intended as a ceremonial space, combining study and regeneration, working in the garden and circle culture, rest and expansion into cacao's consciousness. We will deepen The Art of Cacao studies, refine our ceremonial offerings and receive earth-based rituals held by the mountain, plant and water spirits.

The circle will take place in a private family guesthouse and living temple, a simple yet magical place between the worlds, a hidden gem and place of power, "surrounded by mountains peaks, rivers and crystal clear lakes; a place of refuge for timeless moments, offering a soothing balm for the senses and the troubled mind."

Join me in Circle and in Ceremony today at 7.30 pm CET (Berlin) for the Solstice Sun Celebration Cacao Ceremony on Zoom. I look forward to weaving a space of comfort and calibration to enter the portal of the Solstice with awareness.

The Winter Solstice on 21.12 heralds the darkest night of the year, the Mother Night, when the sun child is born. It marks the beginning of Christmas and the Twelve Sacred Nights. These nights symbolise the twelve months of the coming year. It is a time of secrets, the veil to the 'other worlds' opens for elementals, nature spirits & devas. We are particularly sensitive to visions. These days are deeply sacred - they can bring calmness, tranquility, and reflection.

Everything worldly is to stand still, no wheels on the outside are to tun, as the wheels of fate turn in this time beyond time. After twelve days and nights the transformation will be complete and hearts filled with hope for the returning of the light.

I wish you a beautiful Solstice portal - may you lit a light within yourself to expand beyond.

19/12/2022

During The Twelve Sacred Nights dreams pe*****te reality, symbols seem magnified and nature sends messages to illuminate time and space.

Nature becomes alive and invites humans to be part of the creation process, the active weaving, the unfolding.

The Twelve Nights that followed the Winter Solstice are recognized as sacred and celebrated with awareness. These nights are either between the Solstice and the 3rd of January or from Christmas Eve until The Three Kings. Each night symbolizes a month of the new year - twelve nights to prepare for twelve months.

Traditionally, this time is characterized by listening, awareness, ceremony, and opening communication to the Otherworld. People open to the signs sent by Mother Nature and align with earth's intuition to peak along the lines of time into the future.

On December 21, 2022, at 7.30 pm, I will open the ceremonial space to honor the Solstice and the light within. I invite you to ground, breathe out with me and receive deep love from and with the Cacao Deva.

The Pagamento is associated with the vision of the perpetual motion of energy. The ritual offering is a symbolic act that is based on thankfulness, on the cycle of giving and receiving between human beings and nature.

The Pagamento is related to the conception that one is born from mother earth, that she gives us everything we need: water, air, and food, and therefore there is a commitment to caring for the natural world. Caring for the earth and what the Pachamama left behind is a way in which we also take care of ourselves. Pagamentos are conscious exchanges with mother nature.

The Sierra Divina Project is a spirited cacao forest located in the "Heart of the World," in the vicinities of the Guachaca River, a place considered by the four tribes as sacred for its special power. For all the people involved in the project, to be able to collaborate with nature to produce the most exquisite ceremonial cacao beans, the pagamentos are necessary.

Mama Miguel from the Kogui tribe will share the song of the land and the Cacao with you.

Meet the Cacao Gardeners #3 Online Ceremonial Gathering with the Cacao Gardener Family, Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 7 pm CET. In this edition we will bring light to the ancient practice of Pagamento.

Cultural Celebrations around the Solstice

Many of today's Christian festivities in Europe have far older roots that point to ancient practices of the native peoples of Europe. Here are two of the five festivities that you will come across in the month of December:

Winter Solstice
At the Winter Solstice on 21 December we reach the depth of that darkness with the longest night of the year. With the end of the longest night, the dark is defeated with the return of the Sun, the return of light, hope, and promise.

The Twelve Sacred Nights
The Twelve Sacred Nights begin either on the day of the Winter Solstice, i.e. on 21 December, or on the night of 24 December and end on the night of 5 January to 6 January. It is a 'time outside of time' used for rituals, oracles, inward focus, and stillness. In pre-Christian times, this time was considered a magical turning point and a new beginning.

Christmas
Christmas is the Christian holiday to celebrate the birth of the Christ Child. It is said that during the time of Christianisation, the traditional festival of Yule was interpreted by the Christian missionaries and as such, the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ in December was possibly directly inspired by pagan calendars.

Yule
Yule is the name of a 12-day festival, celebrated by Germanic peoples, particularly in Scandinavia and other parts of northern Europe such as Germany, around the Winter Solstice in December and January. It marked the end of the solar year and was celebrated with many festivities.

Mother’s Night
On this first night of Yule the early Germanic and Scandinavian tribes paid tribute to the ancestral mothers and female spirits who protected and watched over the family, helped with childbirth and healed illnesses. It was also a night for spirit contact and celebration with one's ancestors in much the same way that the Celts did at Samhain.

In Chiapas I am deeply touched by women. At first, I am unaware, but walking the streets and the markets, I start seeing women weaving everyday reality.

I notice the clothes that reveal something about origin and culture. Patterns, colours and materials speak to me of belonging and pride. I hear a thousand dialects shared.

I see women carry burdens on their shoulders, children on the back and both hands filled with goods for sale. Women with braided hair and wrinkled faces look from behind dried herbs, carrying the wisdom of the plants.

Skilled craftswomen, constantly weaving, constantly creating. Women of wisdom who know the value of work, know how to bargain and do business.

The entire structure is woven by women, like a fabric of rich tapestry, filled with stories, songs and silent lament. An interactive web of strengths and collaboration becomes visible.

Medicine woman,
Caring woman,
Nurturing woman,
Listening woman,
Weaving woman,
Thank you woman!

The pictures showcase the incredible art created by women from Mexico and Guatemala. Every region and tribe uses different symbols and techniques, yet they are masterpieces of detail. All is woven by hand, sometimes stitched in a lifetime, mainly for ceremonial purposes. If you ever happen to go to San Cristóbal de las Casas, I recommend to visit the Centro de Textiles del Mundo Maya and open the drawers that hold pure magic.

I am inviting the women to join me for the Cacao Mama Medicine Woman Online course from January 21st - February 22nd, 2023, where we weave with the Spiritkeeper & Midwife.

I wish you a beautiful full moon portal in Gemini.

In the pictures you see details from a hand woven textile in the "Centro de Textiles del Mundo Maya". This museum holds an exceptional collection of craftsmanship from Mexico and Guatemala. I share more about this in my next post.

May I introduce to you?

Ix Sak K` uk` - Queen of Maya city-state Palenque from 612 to 615 and advisor of the following king, her son, Kʼinich Janaab Pakal.

The ancient Mayas believed that their deceased rulers would eventually emerge from the underworld with fruit trees. Ix Sak K` uk` is sprouting from the earth as a cacao tree.

I took this photo in the Pakal's sarcophagus in Palenque, Mexico where I am currently traveling. The homeland of the Cacao holds incredible stories, a worldview that is so different to the Western mind.

I feel deep gratitude for Cacao and the Cacao spirit. Since eleven and a half years I walk this sacred cacao path and was able to receive and share so many gifts from this generous plant medicine.

Now I am on the journey to collect knowledge first hand in Mexico and feel the land, where sacred Cacao originates.

The word cacao emerged from the Maya word Ka'kau', as well as the Maya words Chocol'ha. The verb chokola'j means 'to drink chocolate together'.
