My handstand isn't "Instagram perfect"—and that’s exactly why I’m posting it.
We spend so much time waiting for the perfect version of an asana (or ourselves) that we forget to share the light we already have.
Growth isn't found in the result; it’s found in the wobbles, the falls, and the shaky breaths in between.
Please stop doubting and waiting for "perfect." Start being proud of who you are today.
Love,
Alex 🤍

Over the years of practice, I’ve learned that Tapas is often misunderstood as "no pain, no gain"—a push for physical dominance or "earning" a result through sheer force. But the real meaning of Tapas is sacred heat.
It isn’t about building a new version of yourself; it is a process of burning away. We don’t show up on the mat to add layers.
We show up to incinerate the conditioning, the ego, and the fear that hide our true essence.
In the heat of the pose, you aren’t just stretching muscles—you are offering your limitations to the fire.
What are you willing to let go and burn? ❤️🔥

Alex 🤍

I have practiced Parivrtta Trikonasana thousands of times over the last 8 years.
By now, the geometry should be second nature. The alignment should be "solved."
But every morning I step into it, I am met with a different body and a different mind.
I’ve learned that repetition isn’t just doing the same thing. It’s about observing how much you have changed—and listening to what your body has to tell you in that moment.
One day it’s a lesson in strength.
The next, a lesson in balance or letting go.
It is a constant exploration of a landscape that never stays the same.
Does your practice also feel like a first date every time? Or has it become a comfortable conversation? 🕊️

Alex 🤍

True worth isn't about what you do, what you own, or who likes you.
It is the quiet realization that you are a divine soul having a human experience.
Your value does not shift based on:
Your productivity
Your physical appearance
Your strength or body shape
Your level of education
Your past mistakes
When you stop looking for external "proof" of your value, you reclaim your power.
Remember: you don't need to do anything to be worthy of love and respect. You already are

Deep within the bind, I learned that "letting go" is not an escape—it is an act of radical presence and suffering arises when we cling to an image of how a moment (or Asana) should look.
In the Second Series, the body reveals this truth: the tighter we grip, the less we breathe. The more we demand perfection, the more the body resists.
True release is not about giving up; it is about relinquishing the struggle, letting go. It is the subtle shift from the ego’s "doing" to the soul’s "being."
Freedom is found the moment you stop trying to conquer yourself and simply allow yourself to let go and unfold.
Empty the cup to be filled. 🌬️

Alex 🤍

"Practice becomes firmly grounded when it is done for a long time, without interruption, and with devotion."
— Yoga Sutra 1.14
When I am on my mat and in the movement, there is no audience—only the breath, the heat, and the sesations.
This practice reminds me that the New Year does not magically change us; only consistent, devoted action does.
We do the work when no one is watching, so we can stand firm when the world shifts.
My wish for your 2026:
May you build a foundation of vibrant health to support your journey.
May your heart always be open to love.
And may your practice bring you deep, abiding joy.
Wishing you a year of clarity, love and peace.
Om Tat Sat. 🙏🏽✨
Love,
Alex 🤍

The end of the year asks for more than just a list of things to change or achieve.
It asks us to create space—in the mind and in the heart.
> You cannot fill a cup that is already full. <
So for me, this time is for reflection. For clearing.
I am opening my heart and mind, making room for the new.
Whatever comes next—whether it appears good or bad—I welcome it with open arms.
I know that both will guide me on the path of love and compassion.
A big thank you to all of you who are part of my journey. Your support and love means a lot.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a peaceful heart.
May you find your own space, deep gratitude, and let the new year in with open arms
Love,
Alex 🤍

Gravity and life treat us all the same.
They do not care about our origin, history, our worries, or hopes.
Practicing Pincha with reminds me of a simple truth: We do not practice to become as good as others, conquer the body, to be perfect, or to win. We practice to find the silence inside the storm.
And it is always easier to find that silence when you know a friend is breathing right beside you.
Same earth below us.
Same sky above us.
One practice.
One breath.

Alex 🤍

In the journey through the Intermediate Series, Kapotasana stands out as one of the greatest challenges.
It’s an asana that demands everything—strength, surrender, and a very quiet mind.
For a long time, I caught myself overthinking it and looking at how others navigated the depth. But the real shift happened when I stopped comparing.
I realized that when you simply do the work, the pose eventually stops being a struggle and starts becoming your very own version.
A major milestone for me:
Elbows finally touching the ground. 💥
Next up is the challenge of catching directly on the way down, but I’m in no rush.
It is as with all other asanas—one day you achieve them, so the goal isn't just the finish line. It is about enjoying the ride and absorbing every lesson this practice has to teach along the way.
One breath at a time.
Love,
Alex 🤍

The real work happens inside, in the space between the inhale and exhale.
How many times have you stepped onto your mat—or shown up in your life—carrying the lie that you are not (good) enough?
The ego is a masterful storyteller, and its favorite fiction is your unworthiness. It makes you feel small, unloved...
I love this teaching:
“The worth you seek is not outside you. The feeling of 'not enough' is merely the mind comparing itself to an illusion. It is a cloud, not the sky.”
In Ashtanga, we practice Abhyāsa—dedicated, fierce effort—not to achieve a pose, but to burn away these self-limiting clouds.
That momentary struggle in the posture? It's the same fire you need to fight the inner critic.
Stop searching for love outside the temple of your own body.
You are whole.
You are complete.
You are loved.
Love,
Alex 🤍
