Guess what?
To all who do not know it yet: Splendid Speakers has officially been acknowledged as a Toastmasters Club on December 11th. We are very grateful for everything. Thanks a lot to everyone involved: Kushi for her constant encouragment, insightfull tipps and proofreading of the documents, Karla Viehbahn, who had good ideas for the project management, Berliner Redekünstler for all the support, massive sponsoring and the use of their treasurer who helped us a lot (thanks Florian), Center Berlin for paying our charter fee and giving us access to their meetup group, to Mercury Tostmasters for lease of their president and and access to their meetup group, to First Berlin for sending out an email and our very first speaker Rob, and to all the other Toastmasters who were involved in the wonderful kick-off meeting that made all this possible.
Have a wonderful, merry Christmans everyone and come back with lots of great stories!
We recommend the founding of new clubs. It is a lot of work and even more fun!

One meeting, 16 Toastmasters, about 40 guests added up to 24 new members: A band of speakers.
We will charter now!!!!! From planning to club in about six weeks! Damn lucky, and proud, and exhausted.
The opening table topic was an answer to the question: „What one challenge are you proud of having overcome this year?“ „TO COME HERE“. The guestspeaker (now a proud member) did an excellent job, when he described the challenge. 😍
